It's not. MT is in Fords pocket.. They ain't telling you the full story .How in Gods name can a 500 hp car be pulling the same time as a 760 hp supercharged car
I agree with you 100%. I just wanted to see a reaction of how it’s even possible. It's not. MT is in Fords pocket.. They ain't telling you the full story .
Back in the day Manufactures would give magazines 'ringer cars'.
"Its 86-foot 60-0-mph stop edges out the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR by 1 foot."
Complete BS.
That viper has better brakes and weighs 3413 pounds. This DH is 3990.
Makes the M2 a bargain!!!Lol alright, but I'm sure you know this.... it's NOT limited production and this isn't as nearly sought after especially after an ADM in this price class.
M3 and M4 is in this range, and is a better car. Just not what we like, V8.
Problem is that car is dogshit uglyMakes the M2 a bargain!!!
They‘re plenty smart but laws, both Federal and individual state laws prevent the manufacturer/wholesaler from dictating actual retail selling prices. Little thing called price fixing and all that. In fact, if Ford did anything at all to “encourage” it’s dealers to not sell over sticker, say cutting allocations to those who do, it would be interpreted by the courts as exactly the same thing. If Ford was smart, they stop orders to dealers that publish and caught selling with ATM'S.
And the CEO is already not happy with dealers that do this crap.
Ford can't sell direct, but the CEO if he wants to stop this, once and for all, could open/buy a dealership and sell these in demand models witth no ATM'S and make it know to the buying public you can order your vehicle and pick it up with no ATM'S at x y z dealeship.
My opinion is anyone paying ATM'S on a mass produced car are morons.
No law that states, they can't set up a side company to own a dealership(s) and sell at MSRP or less. Or offer "a" dealership incentives to sell at msrp in every state. They‘re plenty smart but laws, both Federal and individual state laws prevent the manufacturer/wholesaler from dictating actual retail selling prices. So those who think Ford could stop it all if they really wanted to are very naive about the reality of the situation. It’s been tried and it won’t fly. Don’t ask how I know.
Problem is that the cars aren't even worth what the MSRP says. Drive a car off the lot at you lose 10-15k right off the bat. This is part of the reason I tell people never put a down payment on a car because if it gets wrecked or stolen you're shit out of luck. Unless you've got real good insurance that will pay for the loan your fucked. When I was looking for my GT350, many places wanted an ADM up to $10K. I refused to buy from any dealer tacking on an ADM. Heck, I was even bothered paying msrp. But I kept looking, and a few months later bought my car for $2500 under msrp. The hell with any place trying to get more from you than what the car is worth..
You really have no clue how the car business works in a Capitalist economy that is evident in your rants. If Ford was smart, they stop orders to dealers that publish and caught selling with ATM'S.

I will disagree with this wholeheartedly for the MY 20-22 as I made a ton of money buying new cars and flipping them. See the car in my avatar? 50% of that car was FREE from buying and flipping new cars.Problem is that the cars aren't even worth what the MSRP says. That's a special situation when there was a shortage of cars.... can't say that you didn't because I know people who did the same thing.I will disagree with this wholeheartedly for the MY 20-22 as I made a ton of money buying new cars and flipping them. And maybe to others the car is worth the sticker price plus $X ADM. Value/worth is determined by each individual.what the car is worth..
