Hard no on Safelite. They just replaced a windshield on my Jeep. Techs there DGAF, it’s all volume no quality. Management are too busy pushing volume and dealing with scheduling. Stay far away.

I would find a smaller independently owned shop, and get references. If that doesn’t work out, find a Ford dealer you trust.

Lol I install windshields. Ask for an experienced tech to install it. Watch for ooze out on the inside and outsides especially, no molding to cover someone’s mistakes. Non oem won’t have the ford logo. Good luck

Buy it from your dealer, MUCH cheaper than safelite ect.....

So is there a difference in oem vs aftermarket (quality ect.) , I noticed on my 2019 the windshield says "sound screen" on it. Is that a technology that comes with oem, not present in aftermarket or just bullshit hype ?

Another hard no on Safelite. Safelite $1200.00. Local shop $633.00. This is factory glass.

I've had to replace the windshield twice on the GT, and once on the F250, and Safelite did them all. I don't remember it being more than $400 a pop for factory glass. They came to my house and I watched them do an excellent job each time. YMMV

Had Safelite do mine a couple months back. No problems. Didn't care how much it was. Comprehensive insurance coverage deductible was $250. OEM glass.

Factory glass from safelite was 1500 installed. My dealer sold me the shield for 350 and my body shop installed it for 100.
