Just hitting up the brain trust for any other ideas.. Ford appointment this Thursday.
I'm still having occasional issues with starting my 2020 gt350.. even after new battery. I notice the issue sometimes occurs after I hand wash my car or when the weather is damp/misting/sitting outside, but not always!... suspect there might be a grounding issue/short or a sensor issues, After several attempts, I can eventually get is started, but sometime it ends in limp mode. It threw a check engine light (po339; crankshaft position sensor), which may be the issue... but going into ford to figure out (fortunately under factory warranty). Also occasionally have issues with active exhaust (drive mode not able to be selected). Only 8600 miles, weekend drives only, no mods other than FP air filter, FP passenger side Oil separator. Baby this car until engine reaches 190. Anyone else have similar issues like this?

An issue with the crankshaft position sensor signal could cause the issues you are having. Sounds like the first logical place to start diagnosing this issue.

Yeah, since it flagged the code twice, I'm thinking this is the problem. I'd rather do myself, but afraid this sensor is a PITA to get to. Thanks for your comment.

I know lots have less then kind words about dealer service. The one I use is really good. Being under warranty its a no brainer. I will say the diagnostic equipment they have available to them in pretty slick. Crank sensor isn’t a huge ordeal.

+3 weeks later, my car is ready from the dealership.. Transmission removed and crankshaft sensor replaced. Hoping this was the root cause of my issues and this will be it on my gt350. Fortunately a $2500(?) job covered by factory warranty.. Fingers crossed this will be smooth sailing here on out. Looking forward to getting her back on the road and the drive!
