Affected vehicles include certain 2015 Ford Mustangs equipped
with 2.3-liter engines built at Flat Rock Assembly Plant, Sept. 25,
2014 to Oct. 9, 2014. Ford is aware of 712 vehicles in the United
States and federalized territories and 16 in Canada. These totals
are as of Dec. 3, 2014.

im curious to know if that means, that my vehicle could possibly not be under recall even if it was produced during those dates.

yes im overthinking this :(

Where do you find the date of production?
Go to etis.ford.com and enter your vin number. Gives you everything that you would ever want to know about what you car came with from the factory

You can go to ford.com and do a search for "recall", then you can type in your VIN and it will tell you if your car is one of the recalls.

I think this is what caused my Evo to catch fire (RIP) :/ Good to see that Ford caught this before anyone was harmed.

I can help with that, EcoSnake. Send me a PM with your VIN; I'll check it out.

Mine was already in for service on the shitty brembo brakes so they checked and sure enough Im part of the recall. Parts have been ordered and lucky me, I get to keep the Edge loaner until they come in.

Let's get you back in your Mustang, Zoink. Please send me a PM with your VIN, current mileage, servicing dealer, full name, and best contact number.

I'm here to help, clubamericalara. Send me a PM with your VIN and I'll take a peek.

Another way to check is simply login to the Ford Owners website and check for a recall there.

Thanks for pointing people to Ford Owner, JeffreyDJ and H5GT 2 S550. Here's the link to check your VINs. It's a great resource!

Also, Owner Letters will be mailed out the week of December 15th.

Ask Rachael with FordService on here. She'll figure it out for you.
I sure will; thanks for suggesting me, Spartan! :ford:

COTUS is still a pilot program, gabrielg1121, and may not be functioning to its full potential. Quite a few people have gotten the same message recently.

If you send me your VIN or dealer code and order number, I'm happy to take a peek at your Pony's progress.

So what is involved in fixing this? Do they need to replace the sensor or is it just a matter or adjusting it?
