Hey guys, long time reader and first time poster here. I have a 1973 Puch moped that's running a little warm. Any insight?

I saw coolant temps while reading about an engine failure so I figure why not transition into small engine tech.

Those no-fan air cooled engines need to be moving to cool properly. Next time ride it. :)

F150's do have coyote's in them.
For sure they do. My issue was specific to our Ecoboost 3.5, which is not found in the Mustang.
But at one point upon complaints, I just took some of my comments to facetious/obnoxious level.
I do still think this is relevant here as others stated.

It's running? Better catch it then. :D

Hi my name is Wally and I own a service station right outside of Mt. Pilot. My first step is always to turn on the heater to see if it cools the car down. If that doesn’t fix it head on down and we will get you checked out.

Address is 625 S. Main St., Mount Airy, North Carolina

Here are some better videos of the sound:
Video 1:

Video 2:

Video 2 is when the car warmed up a little bit, but the car was still pretty cold in both videos.

Here you go. Let me know if you want anything in specific.

I don't see any oil leaking. All the coolant is from either the mmr coolant mod leaking, or when my coolant expansion tank was cracked and it overflowed a lot of coolant onto the engine.

This thread feels like a mystery novel that stops in the middle of the story and you never find out what happened. Then you turn the page and the next 3 chapters are from a different book entirely.
Yes I leave the thread alone for a few days and it turns into an ask/answer for coolant issues lmao. I promise ill post the solutions and problems when I figure it out. Just really busy with college.

Pull the valve covers you might get lucky and find a broke cam follower or 2.

Codes show that there is over-timing with one of the vct systems. Either a broken vct solenoid or broken phaser. Possibly from oil starvation.

Hopefully it is just that (really hoping its the solenoid as its a much easier job). Still doesn't explain where the oil went. Possible it was burning it but I really don't see thick smoke...

When you pull pistons and then reinstall without proper cylinder prep it usually won't get a good ring seal. Especially on the plasma coated ones.

If you did starve the engine of oil you should have a low oil pressure code stored.

I just don’t see any smoke or oil coming out of the exhaust

It was probably only burning enough to see smoke when at speed under high loads.

Did or do you see any oil pressure codes?
