I must’ve missed that you mentioned you have the Tri-Ax.I didn’t even know Full Tilt had such a mount. Does it work with aftermarket shifters? I currently have the Steeda Tri-ax race shifter with stiff springs, as well as the clutch spring.
I have a question for ya. I recently installed the Whiteline insert and have a horrible vibration even when parked and in neutral. If i rev the engine up slowly while parked the vibration starts around 1500 RPMs and goes until around 2500 RPMs. It happens while revving up and also as the revs come down and always in that RPM range. When driving the same occurs but drivability is not affected.I installed a Whiteline mount in mine until recently, when I upgraded to a Boomba mount.
I didn’t have any issues with vibration like you mentioned and I didn’t have to drill holes in my mount either, like some people do. When I switched to the Boomba mount, I went with the race version and everything is still good to go. I only have slight vibration (and I mean very slight) when passing through 40-45 mph an about 75-80 mph, but once I pass through those speeds it’s smooth again.I have a question for ya. Did you notice any such NVH with the insert?
When switching to the Boomba did you use the street or race version and was there any associated NVH?
TIA

No problem. I’m sure it’s something relatively easy. Some people do drill holes in the Whiteline mount tone down any NVH and report great results. Take a look here. Thanks for the response!
I will have to remove the insert and see if I did something wrong.
I also installed the BMR CB006 after removing the Steeda two point G-Trac brace at the same time. I will triple check to make sure it isn't touching somewhere it's not supposed to but I know I double checked it when I installed it.
Part of the joy of installing two different things at the same time is figuring which one is being naughty..haha
It's got to be something transmitting the vibrations from the engine since it's doing it in neutral and parked. It seems to be right under my butt but definitely from the floor pan. That corresponds to the crossmember location. No problem. I’m sure it’s something relatively easy. Some people do drill holes in the Whiteline mount tone down any NVH and report great results. Keep in mind the rattle might be coming from the counterweight on the side of the tranny too. It rattles a whole lot. It's got to be something transmitting the vibrations from the engine since it's doing it in neutral and parked. I had to really squeeze the bushing in with large channellock pliers. I may just take the other three bolts out and bring the entire mount to the bench.
I did drill a 1/2" hole and I may make that a 3/4" while out.
I'm not gonna give up since it really improved the high RPM 3-4 shift rattle I got from the Barton.
Thanks again.
I will try to take a video. It may come through on the sound but it's very pronounced in the "feels" dept.Keep in mind the rattle might be coming from the counterweight on the side of the tranny too. It rattles a whole lot.

I had the same issue when I installed the insert. Some cars vibrate like hell and some have no issues. I heard you can drill a hole in the center of it and it helps get rid of the vibration but I never tried it. I just pulled the insert out and moved on to other mods.I have a question for ya. I'm going to take it out and make sure it's the culprit.I had the same issue when I installed the insert. Some cars vibrate like hell and some have no issues. I looked at the Bomba mount but haven't tried it. If you do, let us know how it goes. It's on my list but no where near the top right now!I'm going to take it out and make sure it's the culprit.
I did drill a hole but I'm considering cutting most of the bottom piece off and leave the two "fingers" in the top and see what happens. I will need to leave some of the bottom part so the two fingers will have something to keep them from coming out.
If all else fails I will try the Boomba mount.
