I moved from 2019 EB Premium, eight months old, to 2019 GT Premium, both 6MT. Lost some money on the EB, but best decision I've made.

An earlier poster said his wife bought one just on the exhaust note -- yes indeed, it's the best feature. Sometimes, I regret not getting a GT with Active Exhaust, but it sounds great w/o it -- one less thing to worry about when driving. I hate cars with so many buttons to push before taking off -- don't need a run through a pre-flight checklist.

Oh, but that’s half the fun!

Thought I'd share an update given everyone's help here. Just got a VIN! My build date is currently scheduled for the week of Dec 12!

He's not wrong.

- OMG a new Mustang GT? Never owned one and would love to.
- Trades in Mercedes AMG and gets a Mustang
- Going to keep it stock. 460hp is already pretty cray cray but maybe closer to a GT350/500 so....
- Starts throwing money at her like a stripper at Frosh Week

With the Supercharger I'm getting close to the cost of pre-pandemic GT500s. Wheels and Tires, Supercharger, GT500 Hood, GT500 Spoiler, GT500 stripes, PPF and Ceramic coating, Lowering Springs, Dash Cams, aftermarket vehicle tracking system, blah blah blah

I've got one more small mod I want to do which is the front grills but then I'm stopping cause it's going to break me faster than a 20 something year old woman looking for a sugar daddy.

You won't regret it but definitely know when to pump the brakes; your wallet will thank you.
Yup, 100% accurate. I throw more money at my vert mustang that I daily over my beloved viper. Its crazy... but I'm not complaining. No regrets at all. 🥴 Although I do wish I had at least one fuel efficient vehicle. These cars guzzle fuel faster than my drunk buddies drink margaritas at brunch.

When you supercharge it and drive in the city using either SPORT or TRACK, you start to see 12mph LOL

I think City Driving can get up to 20L/100km (11.7mpg)

Can both of you please grow up? :giggle: :like: There is absolutely nothing wrong with an Ecoboost Mustang. They are great cars especially the newer HPP/HP versions. Not everyone wants or needs a V8. That said, I grew up on American muscle and wanted and needed another V8 in my lifetime. The sound is intoxicating whether I'm blasting down a country road or at a stoplight.

OP has already made up his mind (in the right direction I will say), but for anyone else you need to drive it. If it doesn't bring the biggest smile on your face then maybe you could pass.
I cut my teeth driving manual on a V6 maxima and much more recently a WRX. The EB eclipses both of them in HP. I test drove an EB just to get a feel for the car (knowing I want an M1) and it pulled like a champ.
it’s not a V8 but it’s certainly not a 50hp fiat motor either.
