looking to get a R splitter from the dealer

is there any other place that is little bit cheaper ??

Start with white bear lake ford. The only problem with buying non-local is that the splitter is very expensive to ship.

They do pop up on marketplace and other classifieds from time to time. Not every day obviously, but it does happen, if you're not in a hurry. I got lucky and got a factory one, brand new, shipped for $1K even.

Try levittown ford they are on the forum. I bought one from them and got a shipping discount. It was about $1500 delivered.

It used to be more reasonably priced. Carbon fiber wheels used to be cheaper as well.

One of the 350 parts groups on FB has a R splitter right meow or sale for $800. It’s probably too late. That thing will sell fast regardless of condition. Gotta be ready. But like I told you, they do come about.

I mean there are plenty of R owners who don’t track their cars. Is this blasphemy?
I’d think long and hard about putting $1300 in my pocket regardless of my finances.
I’ll probably order the non R splitter just because I know I’ll eventually need a replacement. I own a non R.

Eehhh, I’m probably in the group that would say putting a regular splitter on a R should be illegal. It’s already immoral. Why would you even ask this, Fred?!?! LOL.

There are some that will argue it will mess with the aero balance. That’s most likely true, but as a mere mortal, I’m sure it’s not anything I’d ever feel.

My dealership was nice enough to include a NIB non-R splitter with the car when I bought it. I have not installed it yet. But the one on the car is starting to look pretty sandblasted from the track.

Oh, and yes Fred…the non R splitter will fit a R car. The bumper skin is exactly the same between all cars. Nothing unique about R body work. All parts are interchangeable back and fourth.
