I guess he did it for emission purposes. His state is listed as one of the 14 carb+ states which have adopted California's emission standards. I don't have to worry about that shit out here in Florida thankfully. Mine will definitely come off, and stay off.

True but what I mean is, you only put it back when you need to smog. No one is going to know thats missing.

Yeah, I'm gonna talk to my dealer about it to see if it messes with your warranty. I don't think it should since you don't even gotta do a tune. Like he said in the video, the only difference between a 2021 and a 2022 is that shit filter.

How is this a filter? It looks like a air passage with baffles/restrictors. I don't see how this works for emissions regulations. It looks like the are trying to control air flow but it's more of a restriction. When I get mine its gone unless someone could give me a reason it stay in.

No clue, but I'll definitely be keeping that out of my intake. 18+ horsepower gain and to the wheels at that, and no tune required? Easy.

(My Blend date 9/2) I sent a FP chat this morning (first time), asking for build status, but I haven’t received a reply yet. I’m wondering when last chance to get vehicles shipped out is - if Friday rail strike happens. Maybe they’re being tight lipped and planning for that grim possibility. (Hoping for best.. but not optimistic).

My car finally says built and awaiting shipping on the Ford site, weird that you haven't got a reply from Ford Performance. They got to me instantly when I inquired about my order this morning. Also I wonder if the rail strike will affect cars being shipped via convoy, which mine is.
