If this topic has been covered before, I apologize in advance.

My 2022 Mach 1 (base model) has Rev Matching, but does not seem to have the No-Lift Shift option. I tried this procedure in all regular and performance modes, and the engine just revs to the limit.

It this an option only on the Performance Editions...?

Thanks.

Mine is an A10 but I drove the M6 at the Mach 1 Track Attack and the key is wide-open throttle. If you're not full on the throttle, it apparently doesn't kick in.

I believe it has some pretty tight yaw parameters too...the guy who drove the lightning lap record talks about it on a video...he lost a little time due to a no-lift that didn't happen.

At Track Attack, it was difficult to retrain my muscle memory to NOT lift, even on repeated runs. It would probably be easier if one didn't already know how to drive a manual.

Right, was told it works only when over 5k RPM and 80% throttle (since difficult to tell where that is, do it at full throttle). Definitely feels very weird doing it, but it is beautiful. I revved mine too a few times when trying it. Easier to do when you are on a track going with purpose and not just on a normal road trying to test it for fun.

Not sure if it is the same but I had an Ecoboost that had it added to the tune and you had to be at 100% WOT for it to work like others have said. However, it was really hard to retrain myself to do that and not shift properly. It slams the drivetrain so hard that I felt like a teenager driving a rental car. All in all, I'd say there was no speed to gain from it either. Any half-decent manual driver can do just as well.

It definitely feels weird when you do it. I always think Iā€™m doing something bad.

I grew up building JDM Honda's, with Type R swaps etc. In the Honda world no lift shifting is an everyday thing haha.

At least 80% throttle and the car has to be in Sport, track or drag strip mode.

Works great for me, but I tend to use it for straight line acceleration as you do have to be flat out!

Works wonderful, tried it a couple of times
When you do it wrong you notice, then revs go up quickly.

Not easy to stop using the leg as usual, just let it me full throttle and 5000rpm and clutch/shift

There's a lot of Hondas that will smash Mustangs on the track and those drivers don't make threads online about no lift shifting. Also, JDM is different and there's a lot of really respectable companies that build the cars with purpose.
