Hi guys and girls,

I’m looking for advice on how to get my 60’ down. Fully built E85 Hellion TT with a 6R80 and C02 boost control.

I am running a 305/45R17 ETSR drag radial. 16 psi cold. Full BMR and Kelltrac suspension. Settings is no-prep as our prepped track is essentially as good as a no prep venue.

I left on about 3.5-4 psi and 3000 RPM on the 2-step/transbrake which netted me a 1.6X 60’. This is zero boost on the launch command on the Boost Leash. I added 2 psi dome to my Boost Leash, but a car blew up and I didn’t have enough time to stay around. I figured this setting would put me about 5-6 psi on the launch.

Boost ramp rate was 40 of 50 on my controller.

What would you do next if you had my car? I’ll try it when I get home in September.

Please see attachments.

Thank you.

Shaun

No converter and I’m guessing 3.15 gear.

Need more RPM at launch, and if it’s over 4000lb with you in it, 3.31 or 3.55 gear would be beneficial.

Circle D 1B converter and and 3.31’s with an iron diff and a Wavetrac.

Car was a centri car before the TT kit. Not sure if this converter is ideal.

With some Googling, this is a 3000-3200 stall converter.

Needs a transbrake and a 3800-4000rpm leave I’m guessing.

Looked good. Just bogged. Definitely seems like a heavy car like mine too. That's why I'm going 3.55's. I'm at 4100lbs.

On those Street R's, you should be able to leave at 7-8psi no problem, maybe a tad more. That should bring the 60' down a bit.

Yeah. The car is almost 4200 lbs race weight with me in the drivers seat. All add more boost next time around.

Would you keep the 2-step RPM the same? 3000 RPM?

Yeah, she's a beefer as well. I would try 3400-3500 on the 2-step and bring boost up a couple psi. It will make the converter flash higher as well. Those tires will hold a LOT.....

I’ll give it a go. I’ll also have my boost ramp rate in at 100%. It was at 80% for that run.

Thanks again.

You'll get it. When are you going next? The air has been JUNK lately. I'm waiting until September.
