I suggest you check the VIN, you could have a PP2 on your hands. If it comes back as a PP2 you got one hell of a GT. Don't open your mouth until after you own it.

No stinking spacers here just wide wheels and fat tires. from rims 10.5 rear 11.0 PP2

Sound tube is just a stupid gadget for the great unwashed
Lol I did not have the luck to get the PP2 from Carmax though. I got the original window sticker from Ford dealership and it should be just PP1 (with $5995 pp option). And 255/275 tire may prove that as well? As for the sound tube, for 200% sure I don't like it bcz it is annoying to hear the noise on another Mustang GT equiped this.

And I love the ur car, fantastic color and wheels look.

The car also could have had a CAI installed, that's why the soundtube could be removed. Its a pain in the ass to replace so when they put the stock airbox back on they just left it off.

Tks, nothing wrong with the PP1, the spacers could mean the rim size is wider? That would be a +

VVV good point, not uncommonđź‘€

Well this car also comes with active exhaust. Is the reason why it is missing the tube?
NO!

This car does have factory PP1 wheels and tires, but since it is equiped with MagRide I am worrying about if widening the offset on purpose will destory factory suspension specific tunning?

NO!

IMHO it has 25mm spacers so that the stock wheels and tires don't look to small in the wheel well, and the Seuss-a-phone was removed because it pressurizes the cabin and sounds like crap. Neither of which is much of an issue.

If it has the 9 speaker system, you might wanna do something with it as it sounds like crap too.

Congrats on a great car, don't panic, ENJOY!

Well looks like it doesn't have any issue now. And it is equiped with B&O speaker which sounds nice

Nice looking stang. We had a interesting thread re the sound tube/seuss a phone.
I had one on my 17 gt,and removed it for above stated reasons, and wife enjoys riding in him even with the loud mufflers, At least the inside cabin doesnt drone like a ashtmatic bag pipe.

Getting figured out with a new toy is good part of ownership,as I have found.
These folks here will give you the straight up.I value their opinions, and even laugh with them.
Have a great experience with a swell looking stang !
Best regards, Dave and Frosty

No, it doesn't. The cone shaped section (apparently called the "trumpet") has a diaphragm across it that transmits vibrations over to the "broadcast" section, with is tuned to send the sound into the cabin. There is no air flow through the device and it has no effect on cabin pressure.

It's ugly. Personally, I think it's unnecessary if not a negative. That said, its only effect on the cabin is noise.

Yeah, by itself odorless, which is carbon monoxide detectors are a thing for basements, etc. If you just mean exhaust fumes, thats another story.

Oh my how interesting, I'm sure I will sleep better now. Knowing the sound tube is off the intake, none of this applies.

Well, it’s not certain that it has wheel spacers. But given it’s stance it appears that it could have them installed. There are also other ways this stance could of been achieved, i.e., widened or wider wheels.

If the car does have spacers you will hear mixed reviews, however, tons of people run them here on the forms. There are 2 primary types of spacers. The first being bolt on spacers that physically bolt onto your hub and have their own wheel studs for your lug nuts to go onto. The second type is slip on spacers which slide over your existing studs. If your car has slip on spacers it likely has extended studs too which is absolutely not a bad thing at all.

Regardless, I am purely speculating and can not confirm if in fact your car has spacers installed.
Use a mirror and check
