yes. I have read a few people had golden tickets they call them, but I dont really know what that means. but there have been a few that got it at MSRP google says golden ticket means a certain type of car. idk im confused. but I did remember reading about people happily saying they got lucky and got MSRP I thought golden ticket was like a willy Wonka ticket of some sort.

I want to say "Golden Ticket" is one of those dealer invented terms to make something sound more special. I recall seeing a GT350R listed as a "Golden Ticket" car at the dealer when I bought mine, and couldn't find anything that concretely stated what a "Golden Ticket" entails. Nothing on the window sticker or otherwise.

The use of the Golden Ticket term was dealers basically stating if they had allocation for a GT500 or not since many dealers are unable to get one even if they attempted to order one whether it was a customer order or not.

I did hear from someone that since all the stuff that has been going on with supply chain though that there is a much higher chance this past year for any dealer to get an order filled for a GT500, but this could just be hearsay from them although I wouldn't be opposed to trying.
