I enclosed trailered it. To be honest, I mainly do this for a portable garage for night parking. I wasn’t scared to put 800 total trip miles on it. I get a piece of mind having it inside the trailer at night. I am thinking of driving next year because Team Shelby Northeast starts a day earlier tracking the cars in the Poconos, then they do a poker run into Carlisle the following day and I might do this Next year.
That sounds like a good time. Carlisle slipped past me this year. It won't next year. Hope to see you and some other forum members there.

I have a question in regards to shipping of my GT500. Current schedule is June 15th for build, but does Ford allow for a order unit to ship to a different dealership? I know Chevrolet does and a lot. Corvette Fuhrman has cars shipped to other dealers but normally you pay a fee to have the PDI completed.

Does anyone know how the Ford regional reps decide who gets what allocations? My dealer has sold its allotment of 500's during each model year (I think 2-3) but has never received an allocation for a CFTP car. The manager told me that he hopes to find out after a meeting on Thursday if we can order a CFTP car.

it's called courtesy delivery or drop ship. the arrangement needs to be worked out between you, the selling dealer, and the receiving dealer. some will do it and some wont. you just have to ask both dealers. my selling dealer wont do it but i know a dealer near me that said they would receive it and do all the PDI if the selling dealer was game.

my understanding is that the allocations are based on a complex algorithm of factors. so the regional reps dont just "decide" on their own who gets allocations.

That's actually what I'm doing. I do believe it has to be setup when the order is placed though, which is when I did it. I have a California dealer shipping to Kentucky.

My dealership had never been able to order a CFTP in previous years. My understanding is the allocation distribution process changed this year from how many Shelby’s a dealership sold/sells to some secret formula no one seems to know how to decode. I was able to order a CFTP from them this year unlike in 2017 and 2020.
They are a small town family owned non mark up dealership.
Did that play a role???? Dunno.

On another note, getting very late in the game for new allocations I would think but stranger things have happened.

I've had their MSRP 1st order allocation spoken for since last fall, with the stipulation that I only want it if they can get the CFTP option. I ordered my '16 GT350 from them at MSRP, so they're legit. Hopefully we get some good news on Thursday.

I am two days behind you for mine to start production.

I love your color combo.
Got the text from my dealer today, pushed back to 6/20. Apparently there is also a stop ship going on at the factory so I don’t really know what that’s about possibly they found some sort of issue with the built cars.

FWIW There’s no Mustang scheduling happening this Thursday.

Same thing here, 6/13 to 6/23. Originally the 20th..so things are obviously pretty dynamic up there.

Mine was week of 6/13 to day of 6/16 now moved up to 6/13.
Seems fluid.
Loved those Eruption green pics. Stripe delete black roof. Already ordered new calipers to change color and blacked out rear lights.
Looking forward to an enjoyable fair weather driver this summer!
Congrats and good luck everyone!

I was originally 6/28 then moved to 6/08. I’ve gotten no update that 06/08 changed again.

Who is your dealer in Iowa, got my 350 in Iowa.
