I just finished ceramic coating the new wheels. Taking them and the Nittos to get mounted tomorrow.

More important I just filed a claim with USAA about the fucking pot hole I hit in AR a few months ago. I thought I could just replace the broken bits on my dime but this is way too concerning to ignore anymore despite my shop getting the realignment being back in spec.

I have full coverage with a $500 deductible. This will be the first report ever with them. Fingers crossed it will be fixed without post problems.

Are you guys setting the system to driver or all seats after doing this?
I set mine to driver for now. It seems that most of the time I don’t have a passenger, and the rear seats really aren’t useful for people.

I see. I’m curious how the sound changes with that setting when the center speaker is missing. I have not unplugged mine yet, but as it is, I think it sounds better with it set to all.

Splash shield for the PP Brembos. I have several open tabs looking for them too! 🤣
I ordered a pair in February. Still waiting.

Mod #29. Disconnect center dash speaker. This is a popular modification made to many late model Mustangs because the quality of the factory speaker is not very good, and it spoils the L/R channel separation when listening to stereo music. Many folks simply cut the wire coming out of the amplifier because it is easy to get to, and they are afraid of breaking something if they try pulling the dash apart. I decided to pop the dash, remove the speaker, disconnect the plug at the speaker, then replace the unplugged speaker and pop the dash back together. That’s the right way to do it. It sounds much better now.
I started that thread to disconnect the center speaker (and other tips) for much better sound.

The reason I cut the green wire at the amp, instead of getting into the dash to unplug the speaker, was because the B&O dash grille appeared to be flimsy metal and I was afraid to bend it.

@Moonhowl center grille appears to be non-B&O system, with the original style (and stout) grille.

So this tip on how to gain access to the grille from underneath is good. Perhaps we should post this tip to my thread.

Did mine the same way, but IMO still sounds like SHIT. Too old to be installing a high end sound system.

Fixed.

Which factory sound system is in your car?

Got home yesterday after a week on the road and gave it a good bath inside & out, then finally put my summer tires on today too. 2500 miles 10 states in 6 days. Now I'm planning on a bigger trip out west to Yellowstone probably in July. 23,500 already and I took delivery a little over a year ago

Said goodbye and handed it over to its new owner in Toms River, NJ. I almost turned around halfway since I wasn’t selling it out of need but after 5 years, felt it was time for something new. It just seemed like the right time if there ever was one. The only gut wrenching feeling is that although I can always buy another one if the urge hits again, I won’t be able to get one like THIS one. Thanks Mustang 6G. Even though I have something incoming in a few months, will need a little therapy the rest of the week
