I am a big fan of big motors and big torque down low both on motorcycles and cars. This Gen Coyote, how can I get more torque down low. Not a big fan of the high end revs. Love my six speed manual and want more torque to pull a higher gear when running slow. I am not sure what makes low RPM power here. Its a 302 so recognizing its not a big block what are the tricks to more power in the 2,500-3,500 RPM range?

Longtubes, e85, and not splitting hairs, but it's not a 302, it's a 305.
Biggest problem is the transmission with stupidly long 3rd and 4th gears, something really low like 4.09 would shorten them up a touch, but sacrificing top end speed. The 15-17 actually out-accelerate with their lower power output because of it.

E85 is the ticket, but I'd say to OP that Coyotes aren't happy under 3K rpm. They are not like LS motors or other big cube pushrod V8s that like to lollygag around 1500-2000 rpm. Those motors have ample LET : Coyotes want to rev.

Throttle controller will also allow you to adjust sensitivity to make the car feel snappier in the lower rpm range.

While there are a few mods you can do to help pick up the torque, Coyotes aren't really known to be torque monsters due to the modular design. But as some have already stated, e85 is a great start to pick up a decent amount, as well as a ported 18+ manifold. If you have any questions about some options we can provide, feel free to reach out anytime. lethalperformance.com

Sounds like you should've bought a Camaro. Whipple Supercharger will help, or maybe do that elusive 7.3 big block swap. Coyotes Howl, big 2V engines Growl.

The cheapest option would be a gear change, but that will have an effect on other aspects as well as stated above. E85 and longtubes can help to free up some power down low as well. But at the end of the day, it's a modular engine with a 7,500 RPM redline that's known for wanting to keep the revs high.

I could not believe what a change the throttle controller that I just installed made. Coming from a C7 Grand Sport, my new Mustang felt very heavy with slow response but now it feels much more like my C7 did. Very, very happy with the change.

^^ I second post above @Superspirit . I also have the 4.09's and ford power pack. Down low is way better (manual transmission)
That said your down low RPM's go away almost instantly with 4.09's upon cracking into the throttle.
