I picked up FPRS car #17 that I drove in the track attack 5/1/2016. I plan on using the car primarily as a track car. Hopefully I can figure out how to shrink and upload pictures.

Ok, Steeda jacking rails installed. Name decal on the windshield installed. New Airraid air filter installed. Next up Shiftech resonator delete, oil separators, and exhaust valve defeat plugs.

What's the story in regards to be able to buy these track attack cars? Do you pay extra because of the uniqueness, or less because of the considerable track use?

All (at least most) students had first crack at them. I think they are all sold now.

When I called about the cars they had 7 left (out of 17). Within 24 hours they were all gone. I think the fact they all sold quickly attests to the appropriateness of the price. Mine only has 14,000 miles on it. Granted, they are ALL track miles.

Track miles yes. But those cars were well maintained weekly.
I wouldn't have hesitated buying one if I had been ready.
Crossed my mind a bit when they sent me the email offer to buy one.

I never got an email. I heard about the sale on the forums and called them. Glad I did. I'm happy with the overall condition of the car. It is much nicer than I expected. I'll spend the winter going over it and making a few modifications. Probably her first outing will be Willow Springs in May. I did confirm the car has Calipefexion caliper studs. Still not sure what brake pads are in there.

Very interesting. Any pics of the interior and gauges? I'd like to know what safety and performance add-ons were spec'ed. No rear seat because of the roll bar?

What kind of maint schedule, fluid change frequencies, etc. did they stick by, log book I assume included?
