Very true, here is a E92 M3 with just some aero, tires and KW coilover kit running a 7:34, in traffic no less. Also, you will notice his DTC still kicking in. He still had the nannies on. Man I miss my E92, the way that thing sounded.



For more reference the new G82 M4 Comp ran a 7:30.79.

I miss my E92 M3 six speed but for everyday driving around town I wish I had bought a DCT, I would have probably kept it to this day If I bought the twin clutch.

Not a very good time at all. A sub 8 minute lap is considered good but not exceptional. A 2008 BMW M3 ran an 8:05 a ZCP (Comp package) in 2012 ran a 7:58 although it isn't recorded on Nurburgring times. This is a car that was on PS2s and with only 414hp. Now one caveat is it wasn't a HP car with the Cup2s. That easily would have shaved 5-7 seconds off the lap.

If I recall a GT350R ran a sub 7:30 at the ring.

The speed limits were imposed and removed in 2015/2016.

A E92 BMW M3 is limited to 155mph from the factory. That video is from 2017 after they removed the speed limit anyway.

For comparison what I got with my EU 18GT, however with 305 PS4S tires

they seem to have got 477 at the crank and 540NM

Their measured weight full tank, 1776kg

time around Hockenheim

Not sure which model year of the GT they got 2.02,2. and under what conditions. But If it was a 18+ with magneride PP1 then 2 seconds is a good improvement as the tires are the same.

This car needs A10 and stickier and wider tires

The PP2 has 305 Cup 2's vs the non-HP Mach's 255/275 PS4S.....no comparison. Tires make a massive difference.

I wouldn't say it's "FAR" from fast. Come on now.
