You sure you have the 11” wide ones in back? Lots more poke in the front than I though it might have.

Wow, I guess I'm out of the loop, but I didn't realize the HP wheels were forged. Are any of the other Mach 1 wheels that are available forged as well? Or just the HP "birds nest" wheels?

I could have sworn I remember some very shady marketing around even the HP wheels, though. Where it said "'forged' from cast aluminum" or something... essentially meaning they were cast and NOT forged. But maybe I'm misremembering.

EDIT: Just read the discussion earlier in the thread, and it looks like this was a case of @Atlas1 mis-interpreting that very misleading marketing material himself, hah. Nothing to see here I suppose. HP wheels are still cast.

Great pic of the front lip moldings, they are essential with these wider wheels, imo, and they look great on the Mach 1. My order of the front moldings and rear splashguards from Levittown just got shipped, that was way too fast when they said they are on a "national backorder" a week ago

Here’s my car fresh off the truck. The 10.5’s poke quite a bit on the front

Thank you for 100% confirming why I didn’t get the HP. I could not live with that. That’ll sandblast the side in short order.

Sorry for asking but why are you all buying relatively heavy wheels if you are getting another set than what was on the car?

I understand the HP wheels are cheap in at least in the US but apart from that?

Yes it makes a difference in driving dynamics

I am fine with oem wheels and their weight. I need two sets of wheels for easy switching summer/winter wheels. Current Mach 1 Y-spoke 9.5"/10" wheels have winter tyres and I need something for summer, preferably wider. I checked many wheels and I just don't like anything aftermarket sold here in Europe (and nothing in 11" rear either). Except for HRE, but those are 20" and I want to stick to 19" profile 35 tyres for our not particularly good roads, also HRE are 2x more expensive than HP wheels even with import cost, and they're bit too "busy" than HP wheels. There's no other more beautiful wheels for me and original Mach 1 wheels for my Mach 1 fit best. So that's that for me :)
