Huh?No doubt a pretty cool motor. However, I wonder two things. Why no variable cam timing? I think this is going to be like a bike motor in a car (i.e. like BMW S65) what is the below 3,000 rpm part throttle driveability going to be like? It's a street car after all and if there's not enough torque to peel the skin off a rotten banana, it won't be very fun.
Lotus designed, Mercury marine built. It was pretty sweet though.Oh really ???

Not easy looking for love in all the wrong places.Gotta love it asking for posts on a Ford forum about a GM vehicle. There will be endless negative posts. Guess I'll go over to my GM forum and ask about the Ford GT350 and read endless negative posts about them.![]()
Ask em if there gonna ghost cam it... that should stir the pot haha. They are already lambasting any that mention a negative.
Yeah, when you have an automatic trans you just step on it and the computers do their thing. Nothing to worry about there.Do some of yous grasp the concept of torque and what its function is ? This is a 8600 rpm motor.. And concerned about below 3000 rpm performance ? It'll do just fine.
Oh absolutely!!!If Chevy builds it, they will come.
I mean isn't it set to release summer 2023, hopefully the world is pretty normal again by then but it won't probably won't be so you may be rightThey already have. BG just had to cut back to a single shift again due to supplier issues. They can't keep up with the base C8 orders as is. It's going to be interesting to see how they add the Z06 to the mix.
