Ordered 700a non-HP, 7/20/2021, build date has been moved back almost a month since order confirmation, current is 11/29/2021
My experience is about the same as yours with the same new build week.

My only concern is getting it over the mountain passes of the Cascades in December, hit or miss at that point when the snow flies! If I have to drive to Southern California & turn north, I’ll do so:-)
Years back I drove from NY State to Seattle in early February with my 1998 Mustang GT equipped with the oem all season tires.

I took the I80 to reduce the chance of any potential snowfall. Everything was great until I decided go on the I90 through Montana (no speed limit at the time, within reason). That part was well worth it, but soon after entering Idaho the I90 was covered with heavy snow and I was in the middle of a crazy storm. I was taking it nice and slow through the hilly terrain but the back end was all over the place and in some parts I was getting passed by 18 wheelers who of course were equipped with proper tires. It took around 2 hours to get through it. Very stressful. And I'm no stranger to driving in snowy conditions but this was on another level lol.

If I had to do it again, around Dec-March months, I would just take a little extra time and enjoy the drive, continue on the I80 through Nevada and into California, then take the I5 and head up that way. 😉

Thanks for sharing! That is the plan, I’ll make a game time call after a close look at the weather and choose the best of the three routes I’ve mapped out:-) I’ve driven them all and all our beautiful drives, I’m looking forward to it!

And Nebraska and Wyoming, I spend a lot of time driving those stretches, could be stunningly beautiful, could be a snowstorm from hell!

Ah yes ....... Fond memories of being snowed in at the Skelly truck stop on 80 in Cheyenne. Or, Holden's Little America.
