I think the answer is it’s so close that it could go either way. Just like the 0-60 and 1/4 Mile times.. they aren’t very accurate in these magazine reviews.
We know the auto M1 can do better than 12sec 1/4 Mike but they make it 12.6 .
Car and driver gives a range -

I think many people get way too hung up on magazine times. Even times in general. In the real world what’s the difference between 0-60 in 3.9 and 4.2? I’m all for having the best possible performance but a foot here or a tenth there does not translate to reality. Hell it’s probably not even repeatable by those doing the testing. Switch drivers or even switch lanes at the track and the numbers could vary enough to flip the results. Their auto Mach 1 times seem off though. I bet that thing stomps any of the manual trans mustangs, Mach 1 and Shelby.
