On Thursday it was 81 and sunny outside in Southern California. I had just gotten home and put the car in the garage and took my dog for a walk and I don’t know why but it started to rain. And I thought to myself did I get lucky because I can imagine all these people who might be out washing their cars or driving home and they get hit with this because it only lasted two minutes.Told her "no play today, It's going to rain."
That looks nice. Any other pics from sides and looking out over hood from driver seat? Finally received the stalker hood.
I got 24K out of mine, had the alignment redone when I replaced them, they are wearing much more normal now after 8K miles. Camber and toe from the factory was fairly agressive.Had to get new tires... I periodically check my tires by running my hand over the surface and this time, to my surprise, I felt the stabbing strands of the steel belt! Turns out, both front tires wore such that a tiny sliver of steel belt became exposed only on the inner edge of each tire. Not sure if my alignment is off, OR, does PP1 alignment have a little negative camber? Checked the back and I was right at the wear limit on those, so I ended up swapping all four.
They were original PS4s's. I managed to get 20K miles out of them, but to be fair, they probably needed to be changed somewhere around 15ish? I don't do burn outs, but they aren't strangers to hard cornering and spirited runs either. Replaced them with PS4's again.
Decided to leave my Fox at home for a change and took my '15 to a local Cruise in today.
Yes he was… I saw his car and the blue SN95 next to his; both had serious power adders under the hood. Quite impressive… even had several GT350 guys looking in awe. Were you in Dallas ?
From what I've read and seen, yesIs it normal with an alignment to spec for these to wear on the inner side for some reason?
What a strange concept...
It's tough keeping the engine bay this clean when you're hitting mud puddles. I just took this picture and the car has just under 35K miles. I'll drive in rain if I have to, I have 2 other vehicles at my disposal.Yup.
I used to hate driving in the rain before but the new tires I have on they're great in the rain
Whose coolant overflow tank is that? Looks good. It's tough keeping the engine bay this clean when you're hitting mud puddles. I just took this picture and the car has just under 35K miles. I'll drive in rain if I have to, I have 2 other vehicles at my disposal.
It's just a plastic overlay that screws down using the OEM mounting screws, I think it came from AM. I know all of the chrome caps came from there as well.Whose coolant overflow tank is that? Looks good.
Yep.Were you in Dallas ?
