Told her "no play today, It's going to rain." :crying:
On Thursday it was 81 and sunny outside in Southern California. I had just gotten home and put the car in the garage and took my dog for a walk and I don’t know why but it started to rain. And I thought to myself did I get lucky because I can imagine all these people who might be out washing their cars or driving home and they get hit with this because it only lasted two minutes.

Had to get new tires... I periodically check my tires by running my hand over the surface and this time, to my surprise, I felt the stabbing strands of the steel belt! Turns out, both front tires wore such that a tiny sliver of steel belt became exposed only on the inner edge of each tire. Not sure if my alignment is off, OR, does PP1 alignment have a little negative camber? Checked the back and I was right at the wear limit on those, so I ended up swapping all four.

They were original PS4s's. I managed to get 20K miles out of them, but to be fair, they probably needed to be changed somewhere around 15ish? I don't do burn outs, but they aren't strangers to hard cornering and spirited runs either. Replaced them with PS4's again.
I got 24K out of mine, had the alignment redone when I replaced them, they are wearing much more normal now after 8K miles. Camber and toe from the factory was fairly agressive.

Were you in Dallas ?
Yes he was… I saw his car and the blue SN95 next to his; both had serious power adders under the hood. Quite impressive… even had several GT350 guys looking in awe.

I would have said hello if I knew he was a member here, or if I knew who the owner was.

The 350 style front fenders looked great on the car!

washed and waxed and then I parked next to these guys.

Yes that is a 'chalk' 911 Turbo S brand new (1000 miles) and a kit car styled after the Caddy racers with a NA Corvette LS7 engine and trans from http://race-car-replicas.com/

If you squint real hard you can see a white Viper GTS that Mario Andretti drove, on the far side of the black VIper (ACR?).

What a strange concept...
Yup.

I used to hate driving in the rain before but the new tires I have on they're great in the rain ☺
It's tough keeping the engine bay this clean when you're hitting mud puddles. I just took this picture and the car has just under 35K miles. I'll drive in rain if I have to, I have 2 other vehicles at my disposal.

Whose coolant overflow tank is that? Looks good.

It's just a plastic overlay that screws down using the OEM mounting screws, I think it came from AM. I know all of the chrome caps came from there as well.
