Yes. There was a softer rubber cover below that. Finally figured out how to get to the badge. Just not able to get that rubber part completely back. It attaches at the front by 4 push pins that need to be pushed from below. I could get the outside two, just not the inner two.
Not 100% sold on the red as is. Might try clear plastidip over it to dull down the shine.

yeah I would do it with all 4 badges. It depends on ow the light hits it. In the bag inside it looked dark and matte finish. In the sun it is brighter and glossier.

I was hesitant to order this steering wheel off eBay, but did it anyway. Not too bad in my opinion! Fitment was great. Plus it added about 30 HP to the wheels!

they accepted full fault then immediately they offered me 750 bucks for medical stuff for future and 500 for pain suffering 2 days after wreck LOL.
I said nah. you can fix my gf's car (its 2 different claims) they are fixing her car/ got rental, etc. etc, I said I would accept 5k because I have access to care without needing you to pay, she said we can do 1200-1800 if I sign by Friday and absolve basically any further treatment. I said, 5k or no go, onto of all my medical stuff.
she said I cant do that, we will contact you to see if you change your mind, I said no need, you'll hear from my lawyer, she was speaking and I clicked.

10 years ago I was in accident, geico offered me like 2k. 1 week after I got lawyer, got a check for 15k, 10k pocketed after lawyer fees. I guess geico is one of the lowest bidders on stuff, pre lawyer. I used 5k as a fair number, thinking it'll cost them more than that if I get a lawyer, and since I have coverage on healthcare, they wouldn't have to pay out much.

they are covering the ER trip/meds/scans etc, but problem is, I actually injured my shoulder 2 years ago, and finally after 1 years of rehab, and shots, and cortisone and therapy etc. ive been Fine 6 months, well, now that arm / shoulder where seatbelt/toss/shock I think may of partially torn the old healed wound.
she said we acknowledge this, and we will offer 500 more.
I said oh hell no. I couldn't even roll over in bed for almost 6 months, couldn't raise 3-4 lbs up my side with almost tearing up. I said nope, that is a non starter. so my lawyers already got HIPA approval and deep file diving now. im going to be going back and redoing everything to ensure I heal properly again. I assume 6-8months of routine therapy sessions, and chiropractor too.
makes sense to want to be paid out and not have to incur any further bills.
edit, I do feel bad for the 18 year old chic, she just bought her car, but its her fault for trying to cut traffic and trying to turn left out of the right lane.
hopefully she learns, cant do that shit. the rules of lane turns etc are there for a reason. but people are literally not following any laws anymore, the last year its like speed limits, signs, turn lanes etc all went out the window. literally racing down roads to beat each other or cutting each other off is acceptable now

The red rear looks good. 5.0 badge looks out of place on the grey. Needs a black outline at least, but really if it was mine, I'd just put the standard black 5.0 badges there. The front could look better. Not 100% how, maybe darker?
Overall though I like the idea. And I like seeing someone at least trying and posting pics for others to see.

see I want to buy a new wheel, but I read about the plastic trim not fitting perfectly, small gaps or imperfections. id like a wheel like that, but FULL perf leather all way around, not the grippy stuff but the slick quality stuff.
everyone wants to do split like that. my damn 13 Scion tC steering wheel absolutely shits over the mustang wheel, but to be fair, thats like the nicest feature on my damn scion.
it doesnt look like much, but its damn comfortable, its thicker, and just feels wonderful in the hand, doesnt get sticky or grippy, unlike my mustangs. and the mustangs is much thinner.

I kinda agree, the emblems should be blacked or subdued somehow. I like the car!
