I forgot they made the Mach 1 in that body style. I know they are really coming up in value now. My favorite of the 71 - 73 is the Boss 351, had a chance to buy a colypso Coral one and missed it.
if you are able, come on up for the Ford Nationals in Carlisle PA on 6/4 - 6/6. one of the themes is celebrating "Big Horses" models '71 - '73 Mustangs (ck two links below).

Of the 4 pony/muscle cars that I've owned over my life time, my current 2019 PP2 is my favorite. It used to be my 70 Dodge Challenger, which was my first, and still holds a special place in mt heart, but my 2019 Mustang GT PP2 does everything I wanted a pony car to do.
I can bet you 2021 Mach 1 owners can't get the grin off your face when you're driving it.

I have 4 buddies going to this. They are pulling their cars from Illinois. I have an offer to tag along but can't due to work. 1 will be in his newly acquired 2021 Mustang Mach 1, then his son will have his 2017 Mustang GT350 and another buddy his restored 1967 Mustang. Finally, another buddy is driving his 2019 Mustang Bullit there and back. I am so sad and depressed I cant go due to work. All cars pictured below except the restored 1967 Mustang.

you got something against 71-73 mach 1s? I feel the 21 better resembles those than it does the 69-70.

here is how my 71 is sitting right now, except rolled into the shed in the back, and with some trailer tires on it so that it rolls....

The 71-73 M1's are definitely jumping in value now. In the last 2-3 years, I've seen their values go up by at least a good 25%-35%, not just for totally restored, but even project vehicles.

These used to be Muscle Cars that were on the lower side of the Mustang spectrum because everyone wanted the 65-70 fastbacks. Now that many 65-70's are harder to come by due to years passing and prices (restored and unrestored) are getting ludicrous, folks are pursuing the 71-73's with the desirable performance packages and engine combos.

I've seen quite a few 71-73 M1's that are really nice looking and commanding some good money.

Good luck with the resto!
