Hey guys! New member just introducing myself. This is my first Mustang (2021 Mach 1) and I’m pumped to be part of the family. Looking forward to buying a few small accessories. I gave her a wash today with some Chemical Guys products I picked up at Walmart. I’ve read good things about their stuff. I may do a resonator delete at some point as well.

Thanks a lot! Still getting used to the clutch. Haven’t driven a manual since I was in college and I’m 40 now. It’s a lot of fun! I paid MSRP as well which is unheard of around here. 😂
Congrats on the new ride, my 6spd is my daily driver and I love it.
If you get to a point where you think the clutch is a little vague, a lot of people swap out the clutch assist spring (I did too) and that helps a bit with finding that consistent engagement point every time.
It's a great community here, there is a ton of content on these cars which is awesome! 😁👍

Thank you! Great info. I’m more worried about how I’m treating the clutch/transmission. But then again I’m sure this thing is built for whatever I throw at it. It’s a little challenging to “shift perfectly on every shift.” Mainly because I’m wanting to have a little fun. I’m being gentle for the most part for 1000 miles. I got it with 8 on Thursday and I’ve put about 250 on in the last 3 days.

Congrats man! Love your rims. My last Mustang was back in 2013 which was a convertible V6, hated the lack of power on that thing and sold it off within a year. Now, this is a big upgrade from my previous BMW M3 Convertible 2012 model because it has 100 lbs/ft more f Torque (290 on the M3 vs 420 on the Mach 1) so I am enjoying every acceleration!

Congrats again and this is one great forum where people actually give genuine advice to everyone without being snarky or arrogant.

That’s great to hear and that’s why we are all here— for the camaraderie.

I’m partial to this pic because it’s exactly what I ordered and is in transit to the dealer :-). Looks so good
You certainly have great taste! I’ve always owned black vehicles. My last was a 2021 Yukon and it was time to get a color that’s was more manageable. Silver always look clean and sexy. My Mach is stripped down just as I wanted it. It has the only 2 options I felt should have been standard— magnetic wheels and Recaro seats. It took some work, but I found what I wanted and paid MSRP. This was the least expensive Mach 1 I could find that was new.

Beautiful car! Best looking wheels available from the factory too!!
I agree! They’re perfect. They should come standard on the Mach 1. I’m not a huge fan of the 5 spoke base wheels. No offense to anyone who has those wheels. I just personally like these better.

Yeah everyone has their own taste, I just feel the silver trim on the mags gives a visual of them looking smaller. Yeah I’m kinda anal lol
