I'm new to the A10 on my new Mach 1 and I've been getting used to paddle shifting compared to shifting my 15GT manual .
My question is if I'm in S mode and using the paddles, it seems like it will automatically downshift for me when coming up to a stop light. It's smoother than me doing it if I'm just driving normal.. Is this OK to do? the last bit where it finds 1st gear seems a little rough sometimes.

Yes, normal and a nice feature. I always forget to downshift when paddling. I don't driving stick though, which is odd.
The trans has learning capabilities and might smooth out after it learns your driving style. I noticed the same thing with first being a bit clunky, but I seem to notice it less as I drive more. I might just be getting used to it or the trans is getting used to me.

Also for many that don’t know, the 10R80 is an adaptive learning transmission. The longer you drive it, it adapts to your driving style.
