So I've got about 1600 miles on my Mach now and I'm starting to play more with the drive modes.
I've never had an A10 before, came from a 15GT manual premium with drive modes as well.
I'm noticing that Track mode quiets down the exhaust and does not seem as responsive as Sport+ mode with track exhaust mode on, anyone else notice this?
Also, I noticed that sport+ mode is not as good as drag mode when racing someone at a stop light, which makes sense... lol
Wife and I were dressed up heading to a fancy dinner Sat night and a guy and his girl pulled up to the light with an Audi S8. I was in sport mode as usual. we raced 2 times ... he got me by 2 car lengths both times. I was reeling him in but no room on public roads... I was pissed!
So Sunday I tried drag mode on my own and I think this would of made a difference for sure.
Thoughts?

Umm I don’t think it would matter which drive mode. An S8 is a 560+ hp car that produces almost 600 ft lbs of torque though all 4 wheels around 3000 rpm. That car turns a 3.8 0-60 and high 11’s in the quarter. It’s a very fast damn car.

Couple thoughts I have......
I sat in a base Mach 1 yesterday at a local dealer and got to start it. I played with the exhaust in different modes and I couldn’t tell a difference between sport and track. If anything sport did sound a little louder but that might have been in my head because it was so noticeable jumping from quiet to sport.

with regards to the s8, don’t feel too bad ;) I daily a 2017 s6 and I would not want to come across one with my 6 speed Mach 1. It would be ugly from a stop light. With your a10 it’s probably a much better race.

I looked up the S8 specs when I got home and saw 3.2 sec 0-60. but it's a 5000lb car.
I think think the Mach pulled some power for traction control.
Next time I will be ready with drag mode! lol

I rode in an 08 S8 when they were V10. They are NO joke quick. These 4.0 TT’s now are nasty quick.

You have to be driving it to notice. maybe track mode is more linear power delivery and sport spikes faster.

It’s going to be hard to out run that car. It’s part of the German 4 door super car class and they are very very fast. They make a version of it that makes over 600 hp and has a top speed limited to 202 mph. It also cost 130k just to look at one and the high test end is close to 200k. It’s a serious performance car.

I've been playing with Track and Sport modes with the exhaust in Track...I don't think I've put the exhaust on Sport mode once...always Track or Normal.

I'm assuming I need to set up "My Modes" to get it to stay in Sport and Track when I start it up. Just haven't messed with it enough (not enough time in the day)

My Mode , mode is set to Sport+ with track exhaust - H-pipe.... sooooo sweet to hear the snap crackle pops... That Audi does't get that enjoyment!

Yep…they have a sport + version as well that’s even quicker.
And chips that can easily be installed by the dealer

Losing to an S8 is nothing to be sad about. It’s like back in the day when the foxes got that ass handed to them by Buick GN’s. They are just really quick cars.

I looked into that with mine because of the crazy gains a tune alone gives you. I was tempted until I saw the cost of a motor or trans not covered by warranty and killed that idea real quick.
get some tires, a whipple, and go find that s8 again!
