I just picked up a 2017 GT convertible (auto, non-PP). This car will just be a cruiser, but I may want to firm up the suspension a bit. I was thinking about the FP Street Handling pack, assuming this would bring the car very close to PP1 levels.

Question: I have the entire suspension available from my 2018 EB PP coupe (went with FP Track Pack here, awesome!). How close would the EB PP suspension setup be to the Street Handling Pack? Obviously, if it is essentially the same, I'll just install that.

Thanks.

Same as the "base" GT, or GT PP?
GT PP. Plus it includes the m-5300-x street lowering springs which are 1 in lower than the stock PP springs.

Anyone have experience with the Ford Performance X Springs? I just installed on my 2019 GT (non-PP) with 275/35/20 front and 305/35/20 rear. Was expecting a uniform 1” drop as advertised (trying to close the larger gap in front), however rear looks unchanged and front went a little lower than expected. Any similar experiences or ideas on how to rectify? The picture outdoors is the before and the picture in the garage is the after. Thanks.

I have the same color 2016 same springs. Your car looks great. It is lower than before front and rear.. and in fact, to me, it’s about perfect and balanced. I can’t imagine not being happy with that.

The tail of your car does seem too high. Have you re-indexed, or “clocked” your bushings after install? The springs may just need a week to settle too.

Thanks. I’m taking the car back to the place that installed so will ask this. Local Ford Dealer also thought the rear springs weren’t fully seated. They also confirmed your comment above above it taking some time to settle and that they may lower slightly over time.

It will. About 60 days. More in the back. Make sure the springs were seated properly.

I have the same springs paired with non pp shocks as well and I would say we have the same ride height. The rear on mine sits high just like yours. It definitely gives it a rake look. It sits a bit weird but again I would say that your car is about the same as mine. Here's a pic, not the best angle but gives you an idea

Thanks for sharing a pic. Yes, definitely looks the same. Glad to know that it is close to where it needs to be after I have them make the minor adjustments above.

Here's another pic when the car had different wheels. I plan on getting rid of these and going steeda progressive.
