Wowza. PP1 on my 18 was $4k.

According to my sticker:
GT Performance Package
  • 19 Ebony Black Pntd Alum Wheel
  • 255F/275R/40r19 Summer Tire (PS4S)
  • Performance Rear Wing
  • 3.55 Ratio Limited Slip Axle
According to Ford.com for 2021 MY:
  • 19"x9" (F) 19" x 9.5" (R) Ebony Black Painted Aluminum Wheels
  • 255/40 R10 (F) 275/40 R19 (R) (Summer Only) Tires
  • Brembo™ Six-Piston Front Brake Calipers - Black with Larger Rotors
  • "Engine Spun" Aluminum instrument Panel
  • Gauge Pack (Oil Pressure and Vacuum)
  • Heavy-duty Front Springs
  • K-Brace
  • Larger Radiator
  • Performance Rear Wing
  • Black Painted Strut-Tower Brace
  • TORSEN® Differential with 3.73 Axle Ratio (Manual)
  • TORSEN® Differential with 3.55 Axle Ration (Automatic)
  • Unique Chassis Tuning
  • Unique Stability Control, EPAS and ABS Tuning
  • Upsized Rear Sway Bar
I've highlighted the things I think are actually different. What's on my sticker vs what Ford advertises seems to leave out a few things. Looks like they mixed the PP2 springs, K brace, and radiator into the PP1. Not exactly sure though.

With the used prices right now and how much dealers are giving off MSRP on new ones, not so sure that's a good value.

For instance, the poor soul who bought my old car probably paid around the same as I did for it brand new years earlier (unless he was able to negotiate thousands off). That's after 31,000 hard, hard, hard miles. I feel bad for whoever bought that car for that price.
yep, used cars are pretty darn close to new. id pay the small premium for new with warranty and peace of mind.

I got my 20 PP1 just before the price increase. I paid 4K for mine, and the only difference between the 20 and 21 PP1 package is the Strut tower brace is painted black. Everything else is the same.

I have fully loaded 2020 GT Premium with an MSRP of $54795 and my new 2021 GT Premium that's being build is also fully loaded with a MSRP of $55385. There's a $590 difference

anyone noticed, the 2021 has only 302 ci and cr 11:1 and still made 460 compare to 2020 gt 307 ci and cr 12:1.

Where did you find this info? Could it be that they got rid of the plasma coating and went with a sleeve?

I didnt see any difference in the ci but I did with the compression. I wonder what does that mean for mods better? Worse? Can someone chime in.

I'm pretty sure that's a misprint. The 5.0 went to 307 ci in 2018 AFAIK.

And they are back on Pirelli's. No more P4S
NOOOO!!!!! Are you sure?

The Pirelli's might be ok after they warm up, but suck in street driving. Michelins are so much better.

Though I've found the sweet spot for performance/price/durability to be the Conti ExtremeContact DW.

My 2016 loaded 6M PP Convertible was $49k list, which would be about $53k today.

I just ordered a loaded 2021 6M PP Convertible, came out to ~$59k list. But adds MagneRide, active exhaust, rev matching, digital dash, ACC, etc.

Those extras are worth, say, $4k more over my old car? So $57k vs. $59k.

Those are list prices. Got/getting X-Plan on both, so the difference is smaller.

Still competitive with what's on the market today, and that's why I ordered my new one.

You pay a premium nowadays for not wanting a crossover.

I did what I think is every possible comparison to a new Mustang, virtually all cars, used and new...

The closest was a 2011 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet. With no warranty, high repairs, and little modern tech.

So I ordered a new Mustang.

Yup very certain. There's a thread on it already. Checked local listings for new 2021 PP1s and they have them in the photo.
So more money and inferior tire.
