I agree; I found it interesting that it was not on there very tight at all.

No used the same nut it’s not really tight so honestly couldn’t see why they changed it? I would say Rs only about 40lbft I undid it with one hand so just retightened it the same

I need to do that.
Just don't order from tascaparts. They emailed me and said the dual note horn is on national backorder. I drove down to my local dealer and ordered the part and got it the next day. I did pay $8 more to get it from local dealer versus tasca dis count, but it took them a week to refund my $$.

The instruction I found here was for a Bullitt, and GT is a bit easier as there is room around airbox to maneuver. That being said, I still had to peel away fender liner and have my son hold the horn through the top while I put the bolt back from the fender side.

Thanks, can you verify the part number for me. I'm not at home to go through my many notes of things I have written down :)

Tascaparts claimed it did not work for my VIN, and local dealer said the same thing and when I explained the single note horn on my '19 GT, he said, "oh, I know what you're talking about, ALL Fords from '19 seem to have gotten short changed on the horn" and asked someone in the back, and then went ahead and ordered it for me.

I love those, but I think the red goes well with the green on mine, and I already changed the rear side markers to led and they are red, so...

Assembled the QuickJack for its first use and did the oil/filter change. First time I’ve ever done an oil change based on time, not miles. Also finished the sound tube delete through the fender liner. I know, everyone just pulls on it. Now just waiting for xmas suspension goodies to arrive!

May I politely ask why folks hate the sound tube and what the benefit of removing it is?

Unnecessary eye sore that has no performance value , and knocks 9.7 Oz off the nose weight off the car . Unless you supliment it with something like this .

Lol that's like 300 grams off of a nearly 1,765 kilogram car. On my my19 you can't see the sound tube as it is hidden beneath that ugly plastic engine cover.
