Brushed Shelby wheels all the way (although I like your Signatures).

You could go with a lightly tinted clear on them to take the edge off. Probably not as dark as mine pictured, but you get the idea.

This brings up a valid question.... are the brushed aluminum wheels cleared at all??

Maybe, maybe not. I've seen it both ways. I'd want cleared for less hassle.

The shelby wheels I've seen like that are cleared, I believe @Bullitt40 has a set and they are clear over brushed.

I would tend to agree if you went with the brushed a slightly tinted clear would probably look better to me. But my vote is for the signatures. Again can't really go wrong either way.

Ok, I have been going back & forth with my contact at Shelby American, asking questions & nailing down a decision on the car. Here is what I have decided to do.

Signature Edition Package
Wide Body Package
Painted (Oxford White) OTT & Side Stripes
"First 15" Delivery package
Enclosed transport to & from Shelby
Carbon Fiber Triple Gauge Pod with Carbon Fiber Carroll Shelby Signature Edition Gauges
Brushed Aluminum Wheels

I am 99% sure I want the brushed aluminum, as I think it looks mint on my color car. This is the computer image, as none exist yet. The words "Shelby", "American", & "Forged" will be in the wheel, per usual.

Are these gauges in addition to the stock gauges?
Can you get different gauges like manifold charge temperature or something else?

I have a similar gauge pod on my '09 GT500KR. There was some select-ability back then. But they tend to add their own, independent sensors (vice using anything already installed). So it might depend on their ability to tap into computer readings, or having to develop & add special sensors.
The gauges shown are standard Auto Meter gauges (same as back in the day), and were all analog then. Available at their parts store:
https://www.shelbystore.com/category-s/48.htm

My guess is they will add their own sensors and wires to feed these gauges. Can they measure something else? Maybe.

As Mr Chairman (Don) stated....possibly. Since I am getting the "Signature Edition", and the carbon fiber gauge pod, I like the idea of using the Signature Edition gauges, both for Carrol's signature on them, and that they are carbon fiber faced. I do not think they have other gauges with this design.

I agree with Kent, the old school look is what I am after, and I think everything I mentioned will tie in nicely with the carbon fiber dash and steering wheel bezels I have. I wanted something inside the car to make it feel a little more different than how it was sent to Shelby. if you know what I mean.

I like the look just wondering if could get different information. The car already has a oil pressure gauge.

Do you know what they do with the stock gauges?

The stock gauges stay.

I did ask about the possibility of a different gauge, as to not have 2 oil pressure gauges, but I haven't heard back yet. I could switch to the standard AutoMeter Colbalt gauge and pick what ever I want, as they make many different ones.

If I switch to Cobalt. I would definitely want a boost gauge. I wonder what I would want for the other two? Perhaps an air/fuel, and transmission temperature........?

For example, on my KR, I have pressure gauges on the center stack (boost, fuel, & oil):
77F61455-D61D-4A50-83EA-32267E1C12B6.jpeg

Bought this kit from Shelby Parts.

I created an A pillar set up with temp gauges:
154FFFC2-A73A-4E05-BE7B-4295E6993051.webp

Top gauge is Oil Temp, middle is coolant, bottom in intercooler fluid temp. I made the adapter to tap into the intercooler hose.
Note that theses don’t have a Shelby signature. I bugged Shelby Parts to make some. They did a few years later and you now see them on their site.

I have the same Center Pod in my GT500 Convertible.

I love the idea of temp for the intercooler, Can you post a pic how you tapped the intercooler for the guage. Would love to add that to my 500

My car is on a lift right now, so I’ll send a pix later. But the trick is this item:
https://www.jegs.com/i/Auto-Meter/105/2281/10002/-1
I simply spliced this into the hose coming out of the supercharger (i.e. the hot side), so the probe was measuring the temp of the fluid before it goes to the cooling radiator. Then ran the normal wiring to the gauges.

Thanks, going out to look at mine now.

When you have a moment and she is on the ground, either post or PM a picture please.

Thanks for that idea.
