I like to disassemble things.
It never works that way.

If you put that you are from Timbuktu in your sig however, you would likely have had numerous invites. Saying you have a basket weaving YouTube channel would probably help too.

Wow, looks like someone went off track!
Even with instruction, putting someone on track with 760hp when they’ve never been on track or driven a powerful car, is a liability.
Hopefully no real issues there.
I went to the Track Tour in Chicagoland and unfortunately we didn’t get the drag experience (thanks Governor for closing the drag strip), but it was awesome to feel that CFTP on track wide open.
Not sure how Ford grants these invites, but if you ever get one, reply to the email ASAP.
OP, glad you had a great time, I can only imagine your thoughts compared to your classic ‘67!
Thanks for posting.

Was able to have the same experience when they were at Autobahn In Chicago. What a well put together event and what a car.

I did the GT500 North American Track Tour last week at Concord, N.C. and it was fantastic. The capabilities of the new GT500 are unbelievable. While the acceleration and performance are awesome, the brakes impressed me the most. During my five laps around the race track road course, they hauled you down like you had hit a brick wall. No fade, fuss, of skidding, you just popped your eyeballs back into your head, which was easy through the acceleration, and continued on. Man! What a ride. :sunglasses:
