Getting the car ready to go to Shelby next month. Man I can’t wait to get it back, seeing the stock wheels back on this car is painful to me now.

It will be sweet once it’s done. How long did they say it would take?

B: I believe they told Jaime, nine months so his wait will be starting all over soon, poor guy. But I can only imagine the excitement to be getting the real McCoy, it has to be incredible.

Jaime: I'm sure it was hard to put her back in OEM form but I KNOW it will be worth it. Much like Track Attack, it will almost surely be a once in a lifetime experience and I for one am quite envious.

Their lead time has shortened a bit, it seems. That's a good thing for you since the anticipation won't be as terrible!

Back when I was talking to them about widebodying my '15 it was many months to get on a list with a deposit just to send it their way, plus nine to do the work.

Ugh, yah I am hoping for shorter times, but I expect it to take way longer than they tell me. Between the wide body AND the painted stripes, I may never see it again.

there is no reason for that to take 9 months.

I do agree. Perhaps it's back log, but I have seen wide body builds take more than 1 year.

You would have to arrange for clearance for me. You can't just walk back in the shop.

That would be pretty cool to get updated photos, Jaime although I agree with Tom, there's no reason for that length of time. I'm guessing that Shelby knows people WILL wait and they don't sweat the small stuff.

If this is even an option, I would most certainly speak to them to arrange it. Have you heard of this happening before?
