Tom: Like so many things, my guess is, it depends on what you want to do with the vehicle. If the suspension can keep the fender away from the rubber, I would think that would improve handling. I presume these are shots of your two so I will assume they don't rub, no matter what.
As for looks, I suppose we're talking "street looks" and in that case, I'm with some of the other guys, a wee bit too far for me.

Gotcha! So the spoke clearance necessitated the offset in that particular wheel design? IMO if it does not rub then its ALL good, i think they look fine/great. Now if they rub, and i mean rub ANY...then i say NO way. What size and offset are they?
