Let's be honest here.. 99.9% of all of you dont need and wont benefit from any additional coolers.. so if you drive a manual u can get a tremec now.. if you prefer a20 u literally get nothing that will benefit u for the costs.. will probably be same price as gt350 except u getting a 5oh
I think we may be looking at low end 45 (cloth seats, no HP, no interior upgrades or apperance packages) upper end 60, loaded, so considerably less than a 2020 GT350.

scratch the min, maybe 50 for the min. didn't realize the 301 GT w/ PP2 was right at 45.

I agree these cars are complete over kill for the street. Its ridiculous that you can get this much performance for 50k ect.

We cannot get the PP2 nor the GT350 nor the GT500 overseas, unless you import one by yourself.

For us here in Europe it's golden to get the Mach 1. Call it what you want honestly I could not care less what it is called as I am not a brand fantatic or have any historical ties with the Mach 1.

I see it as a great car which can be used as a daily and that can be hammered down a track without any worries.

I asked this question to you.

Explain the so much more part. Im curious? I see someone post it has more down force but what else mechanically does it have besides the tremec?

After you said this to magnetic pony.

"Well we all know it’s so much than that more but if helps you sleep at night I agree"

What is the so much more part? Or are you not referencing the Mach 1 here.
OK, apologies, I mixed up you and magnetic_pony. He was the one that I believed was minimizing the Mach 1 as just another something (yes, I have an issue with that).

Many others have already answered your so I’ll bow out of that. That said, it’s a Mach 1, it’s special to the history of our Mustang’s. It doesn’t matter what parts it has, doesn’t have, or shares. It is the sum of its parts. And that makes it pretty damn special.

How do we know that the gear ratios are going to be the same? The tremec is used in other cars with different ratios. And since the five to voodoo is a different engine, the gearing could be quite different. Most people that own an 18 and up six-speed were not happy with the ratios, and if the car already has a gas guzzler tax in a Ford may as well make the gear ratios decent.
Because we are the M6G forum dammit. We know everything. :cwl::crackup:

It's a good thing so many of you hate this mach 1. That means you won't buy it and it'll be available for someone else to buy. People hate the mt82. Ford fixed that with the tremec. People complain about over heating on the track. Ford fixed that. Everyone wants wide wheels. Ford added that. Everyone likes that spoiler on the gt500. They added that. They added the gurney flap as well. They put all the common upgrades to a mustang on a stock car. I'm shocked that their are so many haters. I think it's the cheap ass people who can't afford this that are hating on it. If you can afford it and you are still hating on it. Then go buy something better since you have the money.

I really hope everyone hates it, that way there'll be less/no ADMs and I can find one available.

Go to page 50. A member called Katastrophe did a little research. Its interesting enough to take a look at.
Yes. But those are the GT350 ratios. We still don't know what the Tremec ratios will be in the Mach 1, do we?

Generally I don't think people hate the mach 1. I don't at all. Im just trying to figure out why ford is doing what they are doing. Us and people who love ford are generally very passionate about what vehicles we have and want ect. Plus us ford people are very open and want to be heard.

Another awesome thing. Since the "base" Mach 1 will have 9.5 width in front and 10 in the rear, using Michelins Pilot Sport 4S specs, you could safely put 285s on the front and 295s on the rear. Or, to save $ put the rear tires on the front and buy a set of 295s for the rear. Sell the 255s.
Another thing to love about this car!!

So, I might have missed some stuff. A few questions"
- The base Mach 1 will be the current PP1, like my Bullitt had? MagneRide an option or stock?
- I was something about a cloth interior. So, this car is not necessarily a Premium Mustang? That should make a lot of folks happy. I am a "loaded up" kinda guy, so doesn't matter. But it would be nice for someone on a budget.
- Though we still haven't seen the under hood, if like the Bullitt, where torque is a bit delayed from the GT350 intake, how will this effect the A10 which has not been mated to the Bullitt engine or the GT350?

Well, if you’re an A10 guy, this is the first way to get PP2 content. And in this case, it’s actually improved A10 content.

I think ford did great, especially for a car at the end of the S550 cycle. The only issue i have is i think it should of been more of a drag car and the boss 302 in the S650 should of been the track oriented car.

With that being said, i don’t get all the complaining, if you don’t like it then just don’t buy it. If you think it’s overpriced, don’t buy it. If you are disappointed it doesn’t have 500+ hp, slap on some bolt ons and a tune or... don’t buy it!

It's oem racing parts. What does a pp2 cost new? How much money would it cost you to add all those options from the aftermarket? Price the swing and gurney flap, price the coolers that will perform and fit as good as ford made it. Price the tremec and whatever it cost to have rev match. Price the undercarriage parts to help with air flow. It would cost a lot more I think to add that stuff and it would void your warranty. You can buy this car with all this stuff. Beat the shit out of it on a track. When it breaks ford will replace it under warranty. When the pp2 breaks with all the aftermarket parts. Hopefully someone will have enough money to replace it out of their own pocket. The warranty is what makes this the best track ready 5.0
