It was also mentioned that it has 50% more downforce with the handling pack

Maybe some different mapping for the mangeride, abs, epas as well. Also some of the rear subframe components are from the GT500

Not optioning for the handling pack you get a car similar but still with coolers etc and the A10 compared to the PP2

Also as we don't know the full disclosure of the engine it might have other surprises in that department.

I guess it comes down to what you want out of the car and how much aftermarket stuff you want or what you want to have straight out of the dealer. Of course at which price point.

To me its a PP2 with coolers minus the tremec.

Explain the so much more part. Im curious. I see someone post it has more down force but what else mechanically does it have besides the tremec?

go back to the beginning and start reading?
I did I have gone through all 62 pages. I also gone through the Ford spec sheet and there isn't much different mechanically besides the trans and if you want to call it the bullet 5.0 that's old news.

Interesting. Arguing on a forum rather answering a question that's related to the forum/article.
You didn’t ask a question, you made a statement. And that statement served as the dismissal of the Mach 1 as just another Mustang. If the information on the preceding 62 pages and 900+ posts hasn’t helped you there really isn’t much more to say.

How do we know that the gear ratios are going to be the same? The tremec is used in other cars with different ratios. And since the five to voodoo is a different engine, the gearing could be quite different. Most people that own an 18 and up six-speed were not happy with the ratios, and if the car already has a gas guzzler tax in a Ford may as well make the gear ratios decent.

yes, this is an upgraded PP2, or a more streetable GT350, take your pick. It took the shortfalls of the PP2 and replaced them with some goodies from the GT350 to make it a very streetable and trackable car. And they tacked on an extra 20hp same as with the bullitt, which while not much, looks a bit better on paper.

So, just a PP2 with coolers and transmission? not quite. few upgraded suspension components, significantly better aero according to Ford, a slight bump in HP, as well as the coolers and transmission.

Are these all things you can do to your PP2? well, yeah, and likely for around the same price as getting into a Mach 1 instead. Except for the transmission, that would be a bit more work involved than the rest.

I asked this question to you.

After you said this to magnetic pony.

"Well we all know it’s so much than that more but if helps you sleep at night I agree"

What is the so much more part? Or are you not referencing the Mach 1 here.

After reading I found out the rear subframe is also from the gt350 and shares multiple gt500 pieces on the front end. Im just so confused on the price point of where this will sit and why ford did what they did.

Let's be honest here.. 99.9% of all of you dont need and wont benefit from any additional coolers.. so if you drive a manual u can get a tremec now.. if you prefer a10 u literally get nothing that will benefit u for the costs.. will probably be same price as gt350 except u getting a 5oh
