The manual has a recommended break-in that addresses that question :)
I understand that. Some people follow it, some don't. Some choose 1,000 miles, some choose 500.

So I took her in for an oil Change @ 7700 mi (3rd one) They were telling me that I should replace the battery as the cold cranking amps are 438 not 590 but the voltaged is 12.5 not running and 14r.0 running w this car has been stored in climate controlled garage with a battery tender on it. Its entire life
What gives?

THat's my feeling also. I have it on a charger now just to make sure it's topped off then I will run my load tester and see what is real .

No battery is ever going to show 14V; that's the alternator output. The best you can get is about 12.8 after sitting at least an hour after being fully charged. It's not going to give you any trouble at 12.5, but it's not fully charged. The battery on our V8s is very marginal, so it gets taxed more, and will need to be replaced quicker, unfortunately. I recently replaced mine at 300 miles, because car sat at dealer for many months. It was discharging too quickly, so obviously permanently sulfated. I tried to desulfate it, but was unsuccessful. Installed a new AGM of the same size, due to the special box that nothing larger fits, nor do I want the extra weight, so hope the AGM lasts longer. We'll see :). I don't use the car often, so always charge my batteries weekly. That helps to extend their life.

That's why I made mention of the manual...notice I didn't even make a suggestion, as you are right. There are some that redline it off the dealer lot and others that baby it for however many miles they believe in.

I understand that. Some people follow it, some don't. Some choose 1,000 miles, some choose 500.

And warn you of police and rail road tracks lol For some reason mine started notifing me of rail road tracks.

I got Waze working through Android Auto. Now Cookie Monster can give me directions to Costco for gas.

Had to replace my front wheel bearings on both side with 21000 miles. I had purchased the hubs, bearings, and longer studs for my after market wheels 4 years ago. Started getting a loud whining noise a few weeks ago and blamed it on tires never even thinking it was the bearings but that is what I was hearing.
