I hope Ford offers it with some early 70's colors. This would look great in Grabber Blue.
No Grabber Blue.........nor the '03/'04 Azure Blue. But Grabber Yellow is making a comeback. I think I'd take Twister Orange though :)

I am very excited for all the gently used Bullitts going on the market by people trading in for one of these. :giggle:
plenty of those already out there. It's not all a panacea though. Drove a 13k mile used Bullitt, he was god awful. (shocks may have been blown)

Why’s everyone bitching about the power? All the cool guys are gonna throw “cold air intakes” and a tune on there anyway.

I think it looks killer. I’m not a fan of fog lamp holes in the s550 grill but I think it looks pretty good. Reminiscent of the 12/13 boss cars. The real question is pricing. I’ll give it its day on the asphalt because making any real judgements but I think it’ll preform excellently

biggest thing i'm disappointed about is no shaker. granted the 1969-70 had them as options but the 2003-04 Mach 1's' had the shaker and you could easily distinguish them from the other cars. raised hood, shaker, unique side window....etc.
this just looks like a 2021 mustang with a stripe package on it that i can do at my home myself....and add wheels.
they even used 2 Mach 1's from '69 one with shaker the other with fake scoop, and yet this one had no scoops, shakers, nothing....
im sure it was cost but even if they did something with the existing scoops to make it look like the 70's models that would at least be something....

And chasing milliseconds on a track is no indication as to how good a car is as an overall package. The vast majority of Mustang and Camaro owners will never see a track. And none of that changes my statement. The Camaro is an awesome drivers car but misses the mark in so many areas that the Mustang resonates more on.
Fair enough, but IMO the whole visibility / interior complaints about the Camaro are blown way out of proportion.

And because it's better looking, more comfortable, more practical, has much better visibility, and is available with better discounts.
Better looking - subjective

More comfortable - my 1LE rides so much better than my 15 GT PP it's not even funny

More practical - they are both not that practical

Visibility - extremely overrated it's laughable

Available with better discounts - no clue there, I bought both used

Love the wheels on that performance pack. They appear to have sorted the front end with this one.

Now don't screw this up Ford UK !!
Just bring it to the UK in RHD as is. Don't start putting faux gas caps on, changing colour of rear lights, changing the exhaust etc etc. And the excuse that following EU regulations won't wash anymore as the UK is out.

is there a source for this grabber yellow? I know that picture with all the 2021 colors showed ‘yellow peel’ i believe it was called. This isn’t the first time i heard about grabber yellow tho.

I don't think it's "bitching" so much as: 1) wanting this pretty historical marque to have a little something more unique in terms of power (vs. just, it's the Bullit again ...), and 2) a little disappointment after the rumors of something approaching (and maybe even exceeding) the 500HP mark. Heck, I was thinking __all__ GTs would get 480 HP since it's just a couple of changes, and that would push the special cars up to 495-515 or so.

With S650 due for the '23MY, I can't see them doing any more special edition/limited editions for S550.

Plus, a Boss has to be a 302 / 5.0 (and I don't think they'd ever stretch the Coyote to 351 cubes, either).
I think for a Boss they should destroke a 7.3 to 429ci, come out with a new Boss '9

Looks/style are subjective, but as a sales factor, it's huge. I'd suggest it's more of a factor vs. the car being "famous" (which I could argue is also tainted by subjectivity). Practicality may be less for both, than say, a moderately priced sedan, but one is still better than the other, and just maybe that threshold is a major contributor to a potential buyer - I know it was for me (in the context of convertibles). Same thing with visibility, I don't know that there's some absolute metric for good vs. bad, but it's clearly better in the Mustang.

I think what @ihc95 post points out very accurately, is there are multiple factors (yes, even including your "more famous" consideration), that contribute to better sales, and how you weight those, how many you consider valid average out to buyers choosing the Mustang over the Camaro at a pretty consistent rate.

BTW, if you haven't ridden in a MY18+ PP + Magneride GT, it's an order of magnitude better than a MY15-17 car (I owned both, '16 and a '19).
