Is there any way to make the digital speedo read higher than 160? I notice it just stops at 160 where the analog needle does despite still accelerating above that.

My fuel cut, or governed speed stops at 155. How did you get 5 more mph? lol

PBD tune removes speed limiter but the analog speedo and digital speedo still just stop at 160 even if you go over that. was definitely still accelerating and gaining rpms but the speedo just stopped

Mine was 165 mph. Same as what C&D said iirc. With the limiter removed doing the time over distance thing was like 181 mph. But that's with a tune + a couple mods also haha. On the plus side, car felt extremely planted.

Put it on GPS. The factory limiter is 155mph. Speedo will ALWAYS read higher, whether it’s digital or analog. For a good reason.

Its on an aftermarket tune and I have it calibrated for my tire size, I just wanted to know if you could allow the digital speedo to read higher than 160 via tuning or something.

You can have the digital cluster re-programmed to be a bullet cluster with the 180mph limiter, or hellhorse now offers the GT500 digital cluster with 220.

Tuners can remove the speed limitation up to 186mph. If you unplug the ABS bypass plug in the engine bay, it removes the hardcoated 186mph limit as well. Mine is on a switch using the 580P&P bypass mod. I hard disable all the nannies for the drag strip or when doing dumb stuff. lol

Will these cars actually do 186? If so, that's impressive.

It'll be close ... I hit 181 {GPS} with a PBD E85 tune/LT's going slightly uphill on a closed course ... That was 6600rpm in 8th ...

On my list to go almost 190 would be good, quality tires and a 1 piece driveshaft lol.
