Installed and hardwired my dash cam today, which took a little bit of modifying my 5v kit to work with the ATR/Micro 2 fuses that this car uses. But the install came out nice and clean. I chose to mount right behind the rear view mirror so that you can't see the camera from the driver's seat. Means it's less likely to get unplugged during service, haha. Also threw in my new weathertech floor liners. I have to get these for every car I have, makes the footwell look so much nicer and keeps the carpet pristine.

It is a labor of love my friend. Thank you!
This is my next project. Still waiting for my new car cover and supplies to come in from Chemical Guys before getting started. Everything is a little slower during this period, kind of like me!

Well, I Plastidip the hood vent on my car before buying the Roush or the Steeda one. Exchange rate here in Canada is awful. it's gives the car a nasty look, what do you think?

I have an iPod hooked up there, if I put the iPod in arm usb, does it still play?

The iPhone on that charger still does carplay?

Or does the arm rest do carplay only
Apple CarPlay is working and charging.

Edit

Bought the holder. I hate looking for my cord constantly. This will be nice

Will put my iPod in arm console hidden on bottom. Can’t wait!

Is it grey or black though? Looks grey. I may paint it.

I hope it holds my iPhone SE, (small phone)

He is very responsive on eBay messages props to him. Sounds like he’s been getting a fair amount of orders.

I’m curious, I may paint mine gloss black or satin black. Can’t see it being too hard.

Would I need to scuff the plastic or just shoot it with spray?

I was surprised to learn that chemical guys has a lot of locations - I was able to pick up my polisher and pads plus a few other goodies without waiting.

If I may recommend obsessedgarage.com too - I owe a lot of my knowledge to Matt Moreman and his relentless pursuit of perfection. He's in Fl so all my shipments from them are next day which is awesome.

First post, great forum for information. Painted the brake calipers, and replaced the OEM chrome lugs with black. It's a black/black accent car and the all black wheels looks really nice. Black is more work for sure but worth it, really like the color combination.
