Has Ford production resumed? Is the UAW back to work making Mustangs? I have a car on order. May 18th build day before the stoppage.

Based on my experience once a VIN has been assigned to your car making any changes is not very easy to do.Good, so I can still change my order even though a VIN was assigned.
No. You would have to know someone like Harry to get that done, lolGood, so I can still change my order even though a VIN was assigned.
Just to be clear are you suggesting that anyone with a confirmed VIN and presently not "in production" and not "sent to plant" whether it be a GT350 or GT500 are they in jeopardy of not having their car built for the 2020 MY?I have it on good word that any cars "in production" and "sent to plant" will be produced in order from when the music stopped. IIRC, the shutdown occurred about mid March. If you were not both of the statuses listed above, your build could potentially be put off until it is rescheduled. If you were, plan the time frame from then to now for a future projection.
I don't know. Thats up to Ford. I had a chat with Noah. Cars with a VIN, and the status said will be built in order. After that? I don't know. I'm not suggesting anything.Just to be clear are you suggesting that anyone with a confirmed VIN and presently not "in production" and not "sent to plant" whether it be a GT350 or GT500 are they in jeopardy of not having their car built for the 2020 MY?
Based upon what was discussed, the impression I got was any VIN in the system and sent to plant will be produced in that order. After that, only Ford knows. I said future projection, not project.Lastly, what does "future project" suggest based on what you are aware of at this time?
A mustang GT is a totally different animal. What I was discussing was particular to Ford Performance vehicles. Yours could be built the day the doors open for all I know.My build was assigned a vin with a build date in mid May. Of course, before this fiasco began. A GT by the way.
