Hello all! I'm new here but have been following the GT350 for a long time. I put off ordering a GTPP for this car, so I'm anxious to get one... but I keep hearing different things about the 2016 and possibly 2017 production numbers.

Do you think we will be able to order 2017 GT350s for MSRP in Summer of 2016?

Thanks!

You can be certain that the ADM nonsense will evaporate by this time next year. A calendar year from now puts you much closer to the next generation GT500 which will by all accounts and predictions be a monster. Expect leaks form Ford on this next offering and look for the the GT350s prices new and used to take a serious hit when official specs of the next 500 are published.

You don’t want to know
Not true - the ADM may mostly disappear, but the prices of new and used GT350s will stay high. Plus, the GT350 and GT500 buyers won't be considering both cars; they're for entirely different types of buyers.

According to the dealer I've talked to, they expect to get an ADM on every GT350. I don't know if they are correct or not. They said they sold all their Boss 302s with ADMs. However, they did say they wanted to charge an ADM on the LE 2015s and quickly found out they couldn't. So I wouldn't be surprised if some or many dealers ask for an ADM through the entire production of GT350. Whether they get the ADM is up to the individual buyers.

It's true they're different cars for different purposes but that doesn't stop people from buying both. I'd say that most people, including many on this site are buying the 350 just because it looks cool and it's the latest and greatest, not because of what it was designed for. They'll never see a track.

Same for the GT500 when it comes out.

Except it makes it harder for those of us who actually want to use it for its intended purpose to find one. :)

On the other hand, there probably aren't enough actual track customers to justify making the car in the first place.

That is where bench racers come into play, making decisions based on mystical track times they would never actually be able to replicate themselves.

There is a whole contingency of them apparently in this forum, who are baffled as to why you would pick this car over a C7 vette, C6ZO6/ZR1, or even a boosted 700hp+ GT

95% of these cars will never see a track in the hands of their original owners.

I understand the whole adm situation, I'm speaking more along the lines of how many are they making for 2016 and 2017? 5000 gt350s,? More? Less?

I know I'm going to have a little trouble pushing hard at the track thinking about how much it will cost me if I go off.

I still think I'll get faster laps than with my GT, though.
