Hi guys,
Couldn't find much on this in the UK Forum.
I'd be interested to hear of anyone's experience with the Ford Performance Power Pack 2 (the GT350 CAI with 87mm throttle body and ProCal calibration).
In my case, this would be installed on a 2017 Auto GT with Ford Performance by Borla Touring Cat Back (X Pipe).
The blurb claims "Automatic calibrations feature optimized performance shift schedule, gains up to approx. 21 hp, 32.5 Nm peak power/54.2 Nm at 1500 rpm over factory version".
My interest is of course how it runs. Performance when on the gas in the standard and Sports modes, but also MPG when taking it easy on a long run.
I'd also be interested in the installation process and warranty situation (I still have until the end of the year). Ford UK give the usual disclaimers - "Race track only" and "Requires fitment by a qualified technician" without being explicit about who is qualified (apart from Ford Dealers!). As usual, they want your money but cover their arses for any potential warranty claim!
I probably wouldn't install it myself, but would trust Mountune, Steeda, Sutton or other specialist tuner over my local Ford garage!!
Any thoughts or feedback appreciated.
Cheers
David
