Power Pack 2 being installed on Monday at KentMustang (Haynes) - will report back, but by all accounts it's an excellent upgrade (though pricey)
Sweet  that's the one I would go for...look forward to the review!

Bloody expensive again though. Why do they insist on taking us for a ride
Simply because they've done their research and have priced everything at a level to make a tidy profit from the group of owners that won't so much as sneeze at their car for fear of invalidating the warranty.

Yep, you're probably right. I might do a bit more than sneeze but I do like a warranty!

Most of the Yanks - and a few over here - have used this review to judge PP2 (especially vs PP3):

http://www.motoiq.com/MagazineArticles/ID/4650/TESTED-Ford-Mustang-GT-Power-Packs-1-3.aspx

'we were pleasantly surprised to see such an impressive peak to peak gain of 26.07whp and 30.78lb/ft of torque over stock, which is 5whp more than Ford’s claims. At 5,300rpm there is a maximum gain of 42.26whp and 41.86lb-ft'

That max gain of 42whp over the entire power curve is good enough for me, especially as its begins to be available from 1500rpm. And it raises the redline to 7250rpm.

Enoch ended up with a similar set up at one point (FR by Borla Touring cat back with Borla res) although he didn't get through Ford.
Just to clarify.... back in 2015 whilst waiting for my car, I bought the Ford Racing by Borla touring system from Levittown Ford in the USA.

It consisted of an X pipe, two rear pipes and 2 silencers.

I quickly realised I didn’t like the sound, to much volume and to raspy:mad:

So I then bought the resonator from JW Racing here in the U.K....:) The resonator is a direct replacement for the x pipe.:thumbsup:

For me the sound is much more agreeable:headbang:

Another review, with this nice line:

'In practice the extra 21 horsepower and 24 lb-ft of torque offered by the GT350 induction and Ford Performance calibration is nearly as noticeable as the bump offered by the 2018 Mustang GT. Moreover its flat-on-the-floor-friendly calibration makes this 2017 GT truly fun to drive.'

I have had the Performance Pack 2 (aka Cold Air Intake Calibration Kit) fitted
plus Ford Performance air filter (Airaid non oiled) since late January

Love it ! Drives like stock but just with whole lot more oomph throughout the rev range. 6th is more usable.
Don't forget to try the "no lift shift" ! that took some getting used to cos you have to have your foot flat on the floor.
The car should come from the factory like this.
Exhaust is noticeably different in a good way, sounds deeper and there are few pops and burbles now.
Only downside (if its downside) is that the Ford Performance oil separator does not fit without fouling the throttle body.
According to the US threads the ford tune is a software rewrite not just alteration of the parameter tables and is the only tune out there that fully utilises all the knock sensing capabilities of the coyote

but yes the price should be a good couple of hundred cheaper but :ford:

Some in US have managed to make it fit - hoping KentMustang at least try to fit it for me too

Indeed
I think its a lottery tbh
I saw that post and tried but it was too tight on mine particularly on the throttle body.
So i got the RacerX catch can and sold the ford one
Good Luck

Only true for the "Ford Racing By Borla Sport" to my knowledge. Elsewhere if you buy that particular piece of kit, 1 - it will be a lot cheaper! and 2 - it will come with the x-pipe as standard. Ford also sell the "EU type approved" version which comes with a Borla resonator in place of the x-pipe, with black or chrome tips. I know Enoch ended up with a similar set up at one point (FR by Borla Touring cat back with Borla res) although he didn't get through Ford.

Annoying because I'm after the Touring version! Sport was a bit too shouty for me. I would welcome a review of the Borla resonated version of the Sport though.

Could always start with Touring axle backs I guess  why can't I make my mind up & just do it
Mustang GT 5.0L 2015-2016 Borla Performance Touring Cat-Back Exhaust 140589 - £1372.08 from Nemesis.

This one comes with the Resonator, it’s the one you’ve heard on my car. Just get one! ;)

Hi Kristian

Yes I’m aware of my outstanding obligation, but I’ve been away the last week. Full report coming very soon after I’ve spent some proper time in the car. But the install went well and my initial impressions are very good.
