Yes, but they have a tread width of 10.5", section of 10.8". I'd not recommend them on a 9"

I highly doubt they will actually be faster - with a good driver PS4S is about second slower on 30-40 second course than RE71R and actually faster in damp conditions. They're just as expensive as REs though.
I went with the square set up in hopes that ultimately they will reduce understeer. My next autoX event is on concrete, so I won't be able to compare apples to apples since I've only run the '18 on asphalt courses thus far.

Its a shame they don't make these in larger sizes. These are half or less the price of my NT01s. They might not be quite as fast but NT01 is a 100tw tire so these should last longer.
I doubt that would be the case though. Not only does the NT01 wear like iron but I run a 18x11 305 tire. If I ran the widest available (275) it would be 15.5 in wide vs my 305 at 12.3in wide. Prob wear the shoulder faster and heat up much quicker as well.

I've personally used the RS-RR but not the new RS-PRO yet. From what I gathered online, they were designed to be less noisy, but not as fast as the RR. But I doubt it could really be that much of a difference to the RS-RR.

Test them out, and post your review here! I'll probably grab a set since they are so cheap.

How did you like the rr? Any impressions you can post?

Will do. Next event is on 2/15. Wheels were delivered today. Tires are supposed to be here Sunday. Wheels are very light! 8lbs less than the PP wheels. I bought the gloss graphite.

That's a lot of tire bulge. Would be good on a 10" wide.

For the price, you cannot beat them! They last quite a while on track. They do get quite loud on the street after a little while. But 275/35/19 will run about $535-550 for a set of 4. At least that's what I paid for mine.
There are certainly much better, grippier tires out there. But for something that comes close to the "good" 200tw tires (RE71, A052, etc) for Half the cost, and they last at least 4-5 events there is a lot of value there for me. But if you are looking for the absolute fastest, look elsewhere (and prepare to pay for it!).

Ran my first autoX with the 595RS-PRO's today. Dude..I'm in love. Never have I had so much grip in an S550 Mustang. I could put power down anywhere I wanted and understeer was almost non-existant. I'm sure they masked some bad driving, but I was 16 out of 62 entrants today. I've never placed that high, even in my 2015 with a lot of suspension mods. I ran them at 36psi cold and aired them down after a few run when they got heated. I noticed a little understeer on the first run when they were cold, but it vanished in the 2nd and subsequent runs. The event was at a local municpal airport with a mixture of smooth asphalt, smooth concrete and rough asphalt.

They are great on the street as well. I drove 70+ miles to/from the event today. No tramlining. I wouldn't say they are luxury tire quite, but no discernable noise.

For the price, I find it hard to believe an RE-71R is twice as good, even though that is the tire I was competing against today. I believe some of the increased grip came from the square setup but in general I am super happy with it. I will update as the season carries on and the tires wear. I did the first run in "sport" mode, the last 3 runs in "track" mode.

Mods are in signature below. Tires are 275/35/19 on 19x10 SVE-SP2's.

Of course not, but it's just a question of how much that last second is worth to you. Great to hear that you are enjoying them though! That's a great result. It's pretty tremendous the first time you experience a tire of that grip level.

I'm definitely gonna have to jump on these tires as well. Currently using Bridgestone S007A tires while getting practice in HPDE and I start sliding around a bit as they get hot. I'm nowhere near the skill level necessitating top brand tires; and for $550 a set, these Federals will be perfect!
