Snapped the Steeda hood props into place. Not really quite that simple. The battery cover had to be modified, with a hole for the passenger-side body mount. The instructions' suggestion would have required un-snapping the prop to allow removal of the cover. I snipped the rubber edge of the cover, eliminating that requirement. The rubber lies very flat. I think it's going to work out fine.

Did my first oil change since owning the car. Read so many oil and filter threads first, so many . Ended up going PUP 5w20 and FL500S. Going to have to try the bag over the filter trick next time. There was a drip coming from one of the vents in the insulator that the filter access panel is attached to that I think I can prevent from happening again. Live and learn. Also adjusted my Blowfish bracket to bring it down as far as I could while still looking like the body seal was touching. Very minor adjustment and calling it good now. Quick vacuum while I was at it. Good day.

I just remove the whole cover below the engine - having the front of car on ramps helps get good cover access. It's not hard to remove, and gives full access to the bottom of the engine compartment.

I was bound and determined to have a mustang license plate. Had to get a little creative as the seven letter plate is taken. Think it came out all right. The M is a little short but is not as noticable at a distance. I needed a free M, so thanks University of Michigan. The blue background is close to the Kona Blue. The go blue at the bottom rounds it out.
