Cant stop progress...
And no one wants to. Look at the progress that is the GT500. That thing is insane!!

Apparently it is VERY difficult to stop derpyness.

want proof? A group of people huddled in a room just told the world that moms SUV and dads hot rod sports car are the same thing!

Yeah.....funny how Ford are keeping quiet on just how many first editions there were.....
It really doesn't matter. Could be 50, 500, to 5000. This whole thing is an exercise in merchandising. It keeps Ford on the front page. Sure they pissed off the entire Mustang community but, at least for now, that doesn't seem to bother them. There are still twelve months to delivery so I'm hopeful that Mr. Ford realizes the damage he has done to his family name and reverses course.

Won’t happen , ford stepped 5 feet deep into this shit and they only way to come out is to simply let it run it’s course , for a year or two , then either cancel the pos or do a name change. Which by the responses of most of the public , seems fairly likely

Ford used the Mustang name, not to piss off the community but to use the biggest name weapon they had to go head to head with Telsa. Think about it, Telsa has almost become a generic name for an electric car, much like Q-tips or Jello. Want proof, how any other pure electrics can you name? Not many right. How many folks got really excited about the Volt, or Nero? Meanwhile just say S, X, or Y and most will say Tesla.

OK, so now Ford has done that. Everyone in the industry is talking about this. It was spread all over the mainstream news and social media. Reservations have already begun. Once all the brouhaha has subsided would be the perfect time to say Mea Culpa!

I know it's wishful thinking but so what. What else do we have to do for the next year?

By the way, are you calling the Mach-E a POS because you do not like the vehicle itself, the fact that it is a full electric or because of the Mustang name. I got called out for using the word "haters" (which I changed in my original post). Maybe this was a little harsh. But isn't calling a vehicle you have never same nor driven a POS kind of in the same ballpark?
