2018 Whipple Stage 2,401A, mag ride car here. Car made 715 on 91 PBD tune with a 3.75 pulley. Cars got pretty much everything done to it.
*See mods and pics below*

Currently halfway through installing:
Boundary OPG/CS
Fore innovations dual return system
Whipple 10 rib kit
ID1050X injectors
Kinetic crank stud,

Before I commit and get started on the return system part I just wanted to pick some peoples brains who run these and see if theirs any downsides or regrets. I obviously know the upsides of the system (more power/safer etc)Cars already fast and enjoyable. I can jump in it and go anywhere and put in on a lot of cars on the road in a race and not have to worry about it fuel probs. I hear stories of not letting the car run less than half tank etc/fuel pump heating etc but always take it with a grain a salt bc a lot of people talk out of their ass on stuff they hear and don’t experience first hand. My car is not a full on drag race car, I don’t track it but I like hitting some corners and spirited driving From time to time. it’s a second vehicle so I drive it every once in awhile but I’d like to be able to take it on a road trip if I wanted to and enjoy driving the car. I mean who doesn’t want 900whp car and it’s already got everything to support it, just want to make sure I’m not gonna look back later and wish I left alone That part of it if ease of drivability is dimished. I plan on not running a HOB switch and just wiring both pumps on. Car will be tuned for E85 and 91 Thx for any input!

id1050x top out around 800 to 850 whp on ethanol, dual pump systems using the walboro 465 lph pumps are also limited to 800 to 850 whp. Your fuel system is a bit behind your goals.

P.S. Hobbs switch is used for a triple pump setup, you will need both of your pumps running for adequate fueling in a dual pump setup and since its a return system it doesn't matter if you overflow fuel since it gets dumped back into the tank. make sure your fuel regulator is set correctly typically 45-55psi is pretty solid.

My neighbor has the EXACT same setup up as im about to do in his 19 Bullitt. Car was tuned at Dynojet headquarters here in Vegas and it put down 903whp. System was not maxed at all. Also HOB switch can use be used for dual or triple pump systems if you want. I have seen a lot of setups run it either way.

Nice car!!

It may be different for the 18+ cars. To my understanding the budget return systems that use the oem gt500 pumps are good for 900whp. A buddy of mine is also running twin Walbros on low boost around 900whp and is not close to maxing out his system.I was leaning towards a budget system till I found out I’ll be close to maxing it out at my power goals. I am curious as to what others have to say as I have basically the same goals as you.

Im running a Fore system with the dual pump hat. There are no down sides, only up. The only thing I try not to go much below 1/4 tank. The aftermarket hat doesnt go as deep in the tank as stock, so once you get down to around 20 miles to E it will start to cut out if you go around corners or accelerate too hard. I know your neighbor too hes a great guy, his cars sick. I just saw too your planning on running an 3.1 pulley with the 10 rib. you running 20% with the 10 rib?

Awesome thanks for the info! Yes! Chris is awesome, super dope car. I’m running a stock diameter balancer on my car with the 3.1. Should be around 14psi ish with our altitude here in Vegas.

Appreciate it! I already bought my Fore return system last month. It’s here ready to go in, just wanted to ask some questions before I dived into installing it. This is what I got:
