Kev, I talked to L&M about this. They have advised against doing intake side only with the Voodoo. Won't hurt anything but apparently leaves a lot on the table although if you talk to Mike I'm sure they can figure something out because so much of their stuff is custom anyway. Let me know if you find anything else out. I haven't had a conversation in a while.
That's a bummer. I'll reach out for an update. $1.9K is too rich for my blood or the HP gains. I think I'd rather save that cash and go for a full effort build that gives bigger gains.

I kinda have to agree. I have a hunch that the exhaust side is actually very adequate for more intake cam but I'm no engineer. Even if intake side were $1,100 but still yielded 25 RWHP, that ain't bad. Headers don't even provide that and cost more.

Eggsactly. The intake only cams yield great results on the coyote for like $800. I was hoping for something like that. I'd totally jump on board for them near that price. But 15-20hp for $1.9k is harder. I'll reach out and see what he says.

And that will make very little difference in track times. May even hurt with the loss of tourque. 20 HP is not worth chasing. 20 lbs is

On its own, no doubt. But added to the engine package I already have, it'd be nice. I'm up ~100hp in the mid range. It's pretty sweet.

But weight loss is a much better bang for your buck for sure. Currently on that quest now :)

It appears to connect the a pillar to the main unibody. Nothing behind it. Wonder what the reasoning for it is. Maybe used on the assembly line?

With a fully CF body weighing in at 3k lbs, 600+ n/a whp bolted to a sequential, running a 3 way coilover and brembo brake setup.

In other words, many years from now :)

62lbs as shown. That's without (3) of the airbags, missing glove box, no sync system, etc. Sucker is HEAVY

Will you still have a wife after this is all over? Mine has been going bananas lately just over a little track prep.

Doesn't make any sense stripping out an S550 interior for less than .1 down the 1320. Your hacking up a car visually to gain less in times than you can get if you just replace yourself with a fast skinny 100 lb chick. Again...makes zero sense to me! If you want a lighter car, buy a foxbody...

Yeah, I've heard that the Fox quadra-bind rear suspension and solid rear axle are simply awesome on the road course.

if the goal is to do the same thing for less, then I stand by my comment 100%. Hacking up an S550's interior to make the car 80 lbs lighter is just hillbilly to me. why not start with a car that weighs 700 lbs less? I guess common sense isn't very common. I do know a lot of people go way overboard without thinking about what they are doing. Spending several grand to put cf panels on an S550 to ditch less than 100 lbs is just plain stupid...only millionaires and companies like Steeda can justify this over the top expense. This fox sure kept up well on a budget.
